Hello everyone

Yeah!!!  It's Friday.   I go in today for my 5 th fill (I'm at 8.3 ccc now). Hopefully this one will do the trick.

I hope everyone recovering from surgery will be up and around quickly.  We have lots of news losers in our group.

I have nothing going on this weekend at all.  I think I will just relax.  Because next weekend will be busy, busy, busy.

Everyone have a wonderful Friday.

Good Morning Crystal and Illinois,

I have to agree TGIF.  It has been a busy week, and now for a busy weekend.  Grocery Shopping tonight, cleaning and meeting a girl for dinner in DeKalb that is going to join my reenacting unit and a wedding in Indiana Sunday.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.  Try to stay warm.

Good morning Crystal and IL friends.

Crystal - hope this next fill is the last one! I know how that feels. A relaxing weekend is just what you need.

I'm happy to hear that Randy is on his way to a speedy recovery. Sorry though to hear that he had an open RNY!

My flight was a lot better - lots more room in first class to move my knee, etc. The person next to me though didn't want to get up when I had to go to the bathroom. He tried to just move his legs to the side to let me through. I told him that it would work out for me; he had to get up! I wasn't going to twist my knee or anything else for his convenience! Long wait for a suburban taxi but the lady who escorted me in a wheelchair from the gate stayed with me until the taxi came. I gave her a generous tip - as she waited with me over 15 minutes.

I'm back at work and it's crazy here. My knee is really the same. I'm sure that this weather doesn't help either!

Wishing everyone a stay dry and safe day.

Hugs,
Lucy

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

Friday is finally here and that is a GREAT thing!

I am glad to hear that Randy is through surgery and that Crystal H and Deanne are recovering well.  7 hours for Randy is a long time!

I am working half a day today then heading back to Madison to meet with the doctor that I hope will have a final plan on a fix.  Please keep your fingers crossed that is the case.  I am starting to feel a bit like Dorothy in Oz--------sent here and there with no resolution.

This evening, Todd will pick up our friend from Chicago for her weekend visit and we are very excited.  Tomorrow, I will make up some dyes for her as he had the flu and missed the tie dye party.  We will take the kids to their audition, pick up Riley then back to Rock City for a "Sausage Fest" cook out.  We have 3 kinds of brats, some Andouie (sp?) and smoked polish ready to rock.  Another of my girlfriends will be coming out tomorrow and after dinner we will have 2 fire pits going.  Great times!!!!!!!

I am wishing everyone a wonderful Friday and great weekend!!!!

Happy Friday everybody! Hopefully I will go home today. I should see Dr. Kane this morning sometime and get the order for discharge.. YAY!

My only pain right now, and OMG is it a huge pain is... GAS! I walk walk walk, sip sip sip, rest rest rest and walk walk walk some more and this gas does not want to leave me! Right now it just really hurts. (about an 8 on a scale of 10)

My main complaint is how often I have to ask for something over and over again before actually getting it. They merged the Bari floor with the ortho floor and I think there are just too many patients to cover.

I am not looking forward to the cold weather, but at least I will be at home!

Good morning Crystal and everyone!

Hoping everyone is enjoying this Friday, its the weekend.

Crystal- I hope your fill goes well today.

Sheri-Have a great time at the Wedding tomorrow.

Lucy-Glad you made it home safe.  Sorry your knee is still the same, sending some healing thoughts your way.

Dawn-Safe travels to Madison.  Here's to hoping the doctors will have a plan for you.

Crystal H-  Hope you get to come home today.  The Gas pain is horrible.  It does go away.

Lisa and Carol-Enjoy your day.

Hoping Randy is doing better 7 hours is along time to be in surgery.  My prayers are with him and his family.

Today I start puree protein.  Who would have ever thought that 3 tablespoons of scrambled eggs was a lot of food, and it would take 20 minutes to eat.  I'm happy to report no problem eating them.  My sister is taking me to Costco to day to walk my 20 minutes.  She is determine to see me succeed.  I'm so thankful she has taken me into her home and is working with me.

Love and happiness

Hello OH Family -

I'm off work from both jobs today.. It feels good to be a bit lazy today.  I did go in to Dr. R's office to get my B12 shot, had lunch at Panera Bread and now I'm doing some laundry and will go work out w/ my trainer at 3:15.

Please continue to keep my sister Patty in prayer.  She did find out yesterday that she does have active cancer cells under her left arm pit.  Same side that she had the masectomy done two years ago.  I'm so sad and just plain sick over the news.  Her family doc will not be back from vacation until Tuesday so she does not know what the next step is.  There is talk that they will do a PET scan which is a full body scan to dectect any cancer through out the body.  I'll keep you posted.

Have a blessed day everyone.
Christina
