Tuesday Roll Call
Another cold day at work. Not much going on, I have a manicure appt afterwork and then I have to come home and make dinner. I think we are going to have spaghetti.
I hope Crystal H, Deanna, and Randy are doing good.
Lucy, I hope you knee is feeling a little better and you are getting a little more sleep.
I plan on going to Pauls, but I have some things that are trying to get in the way, so now we will see. Hopefully I can go.
I could not get in any sooner for my fill, so I will still have to wait 2 weeks. Such is life.
Have a good day and try to stay warm
Sheri
Hell everyone,
Well I made it through another Monday...I can't wait till Saturday to see my daughter. I have so many things to do before I go. Just a million little errands to do before I leave, like oil change, hair cut, groceries, laundry, dry cleaners...the list goes on and on.
Well I got sick of freezing my butt off at work. So today I have on my warmest sweater on. I just hate shivering 11 hours a day. So far I'm not cold.
Sheri- I hate waiting for a fill. Dr Lahmann gave me a good fill last Friday. I still have pretty good restriction...so far so good. Good luck with yours.
Well I have nothing going on today but work. I hope everyone is doing well. Have a nice day.
Actually I didn't sleep in bed last night. I tried so many different positions and nada. So I slept in the recliner. I am so tired of sleeping this way. I was crying last night too.
This cold weather doesn't help a bit. I don't know what I am going to do. I am not in shape for a knee replacement.
I don't think I can make Paul's get together this weekend. The driving is too much for me, as it is my right knee (the driving one) and it hurts to use the brake and gas pedal.
Sheri, sorry to hear that you have to wait two weeks for a fill. I haven't had a fill in months. You see I had a realize band put in last May over the RNY because of my regain. Well, I had a lot of issues with the fills - can't seem to get it just right without throwing up.
So here I am at work early as usual, Got in at 5 am.
Now it's time to hear some good news from the others!
Hugs,
Lucy

We had to turn the heat on this morning as it was 57 in the house. This has been an unusual year with the temps. We usually do not turn the heat on until Nov. 1st.
I owe, I owe so off to work I go

Open RNY May 7
260/155/140
Sheri and Crystal M, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, I am almost 2 years out from my lapband, and I still go every 3 months for a fill, I still don't have full restriction and I still throw up at times. Even with the problems, I love my band and would do it again.
Thank you Georgie for asking what people do for a living. That was the most active board in months.
Lucy, I really hope you get some relief from your knee really soon.
I am off to work, I had my coffee about 5, when I had to take DH to work. His car is in the shop, so the Master decided it was ok for me to get out ofbed and take take him. Not sure how he will get home, since I work later then he does.
Stay warm and safe,
Hugs, LISA
I took Liv shopping last night and she got a couple more things for school/winter. She is doing much better about picking clothes that fit her. It was interesting and fun. We spent less money at "Dots" and got more NEW clothes than we spent at a resale shop for 2 shirts and 1 tank.....crazy! I was happy because we also went to Old Navy and I got 4 fleece shirts for $ 30.00! I should be warm now.
I talked to the surgery scheduler yesterday and my surgery is scheduled for October 30!!!!! Couldn't cut it any closer than that! I go this Friday for the pre-op stuff. I will be happy when everything is "fixed". He is going to take out the uterus, put in a sling for the bladder and repair the pelvic walls. I do not yet know what the recovery time is expected to be, I will find out on Friday. I really wish to thank you all for your love and support through this time of my life.
We have a very busy week this week including our 17th wedding anniversary on Thursday. I think we will have a nice dinner at home and exchange cards this year....not too much of a hoopla!
Everyone have a fantastic day!
