Where? Is it far from Rockford?

I am planning on going from Rock City.  Cary is close to Crystal Lake, so about an hour from Rockford, I'd guess.

at 1pm on Saturday, October 17th.  
I will be making some pulled pork in the smoker and will have buns to go along with it.  As for what others are going to bring, I'm not sure.  I asked folks to email me, and some have, but I've been preoccupied and haven't really coordinated that very well.  But last year it all worked out just the same.  I will also make up some ice tea and lemonade.  I don't like to use anything artificial, so they will be sweetened with sugar, but feel free to bring the artificial stuff if you want it.  If the weather stays cold, we will be in the house, which is cozy!  I may even light a fire in the fireplace!!!  It should be lots of fun!

Well, I am tired of this weather.  Can we do an anti rain and anti cold dance?    I wish I could ban winter from the weather.  Sigh.  I am so cold this early in the fall, I dread to think how I will be later in the year.  

Nothing much going on.  I am not liking my later shift other than I get to sleep in every morning.  So I guess that is not too bad.  However, it doesn't give me the time to run errands after work and I find myself not wanting to eat supper until 8 or later.  I don't get home until 7 pm. most nights.  

I am really battling my neck and arm pain.  I really think I have more herniated discs.  Have to wait for the MRI reports.  The sad part is there is not much that can be done unless I have spinal surgery that carries a high risk or paralysis.   Not sure I trust a surgeon to go there.....  Although after a migraine all day yesterday, and my neck and arm killing me, those are the times I get tempted.  I just hope the headache is not bad today.  It is still there.

I am feeling good today. A little tired but I think ive been overdoing it even though ive been trying not to. I am going to spend the day resting and drinking lots of water!

Good morning everyone 

I seem to be the late one here on the roll call.  I wi**** would warm up a little, just not use to this cold weather, I just want to curl back up in bed.  At least I still have an excuse.  (I'm recovering)  not much going on here today.  My sister Carolyn said that after her meetings today we are going to Sam's Club to walk around.  We were going to try to start going to the gym and do the tread mill, but i have an incision that is open, so I'm not risking it opening more.

Crystal-  It does sound like you have good restriction, at least from what I have heard, I'm sure your happy.  Have fun with your daughter.  I love my mom and daughter time.

Georgie-Enjoy your seminar today.  I remember those days.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
I am running a little late today, had a lot going on this morning.  Crystal, I had the same gurgling when I was retricted.  When I go see Dr Lahman on the 28th I am going to ask him to put 9 in me so I can go back to the way I was.  The gurgling was embarrassing at first, it was so loud people thought I was burping, but then everyone got use to it and just laughed when it got really loud.  I still get the hiccups once in a while.

Monica, I hope things get better for you, I have also been in a bad relationship and then I found my wonderful husband.  We will be married for 10 years in April.

Lucy, I am glad you go to sleep in bed again.  I keep you in my prayers everyday. 

Nancy, I hope your pain goes away soon.


Better get back to work, I am falling far behind today and that is not like me.

Hi all!

Today is such a rainy day!  I hate the cold and rain so much!  It always falls on the days I have to go grocery shopping.

Well at least that chore is done for another week.  Thank goodness!

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at Paul's on Saturday.  It will be so nice to meet anyone new and catch up with old friends. 

Paul, I am going to bring an Oriental Salad to your party.  I finally decided today what to make.  I hope that is Ok.

I hope many can make it on Saturday!  See ya all then.
