Sunday Roll Call
Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone had a great time yesterday. I wish I could have gone. I HAVE to make the next one.
I had a great time with Amanda yesterday. I took her out shopping for her birthday. Oh my God...she is the pickiest shopper ever. We went from store to store for 2 hours and she still couldn't find anything. I just told her " would you buy SOMETHING!!!!" It was good exercise though. We went to every clothes store in the mall, shoe stores and we went to Borders, Old Navy and Target. So we shopped and shopped. In the end she got 2 pair of jeans, 2 tops, and a pair of shoes. One thing she said to me that I was proud of was she remarked that I had so much more energy than I ever had before. I thought about and it's true. I would have never lasted through the day last year. So I'm excited!!!
I'm also happy because my band kicked in BIG time yesterday. I couldn't pig out even if I tried. I could only eat half of a burger (without the top bun} and later we went to FlatTops for dinner and I could only eat like 5 bites of steak and some green peppers, that's it!!! I'm so happy. ALthough, I don't know if you guys ever feel like this...I do sometimes miss "pigging out". But I guess for me food is like a drug and I'm a drug addict. If allowed I would eat too much. I wonder how I got like that? I wasn't like that as a kid.
Well it's supposed to be a half way decient day. I think I will go for a walk. You guys have a wonderful day.
Crystal, it sounds like you had a great time yesterday. I am also glad you are happy with your restriction. Lets hope when I go in on the 28th I can be as happy. I am going to ask him to just put 9 in, I am tired of having to go back (and pay for it) with no results.
I hope everyone had a good time at Pauls yesterday. I had a great time antiquing with my husband and I am going again today with a friend.
Hope everyone has a good day.

After I left Pauls yesterday, I stopped at Trader Joes for a few things, and at White Castle for a crave pack of 30 for dinner last night.
Crystal, I can agree with you about eating. In my before life, I would of eaten 5 castles, a order of fries, an d a order of o rings, plus a large drink. Last night I ate 1 bun with 2 sliders on it, and almost didn't eat all of that.
Today I need to clean up the kitchen, do laundry, make dinner and pick up the bedroom. I also need to pack for the upcoming weekend, since I am busy both Wed. and Thursday night.
I will post my Pumpkin cheese cake later.
Again, a big Thanks to Paul and Liz. it was so nice seeing anyone yesterday.
Have a great day.
Hugs,
LISA
So glad that you and Amanda had a great day. I can also agree about the energy thing. It is AMAZING what we can do now, without even thinking about it!
After I got home from Paul's (to an empty house) I had half of a Honey Crisp apple with some sharp cheddar cheese as my dinner. That has become one of my favorite "meals" lately and I figure I might as well enjoy it while those apples are available. On Tuesday, I go to clear liquids and might be on them for a few days.
I just relaxed and went to bed early. The nesting will begin today. I have to make a Wally-World trip for supplies and precriptions, and there are some chores to be done around the house so that I don't make myself crazy while recovering. It turns out that I will be off of work for 6 weeks, which is much longer than I had anticipated. I promise that I will do as the doctor says and not pu**** Just like the RNY, I DO NOT want to go through all of this then ruin it with non-compliance.
Everyone have a spectacular day!
Dave is settled in to watch whatever football games are on - right now he is watch Brett on CBS and I am going to go and straighten up the Tupperware cabinet. It always becomes a mess especially when I am in a hurry to pull breakfast and lunch together for a work day. In other words it gets trashed when the clean stuff goes back in after it is washed.
Missed some of our new "loosers" yesterday but I understand why you were not there. Lucy - hope you are doing good - great meeting Stephanie and family and of course all the other friends we have all come to know and love. Sorry if I missed anyone.

We sure saw some beautiful trees to an from church today!

Sounds like those of you who attended the party had a great time with Paul and Liz. Hope to make it one of these times.
Saturday morning I did a Walmart run. Started looking for things I'll need for my pre op diet and when I get home from the hosp. Picked up liquid tylenol (extra strength!) and gas x strips. This week I'll have to do some serious shopping over the weekend. I start my preop diet on the 27th.
Took Chloe and her grandma, my BF, up to Alexian to see Amy. She is doing ok, and the good news is we went back today to take her home. Left home after church, about 1 pm, went north, then south to Mahomet. Got home about 7 pm. Long day! lOL. Amy was happy to be home.. Hope she stays there!
Getting wash done, then heading to bed! georgie
