I always wanted a Tempurpedic mattress.  How do you like it?  I heard it traps a lot of heat and is miserable in the summer...is that true?  Does it cost a lot of money compared to regular mattresses?  You are the first person I know that has ever owned one.

I LOVE mine!  It took a few days to get used to the warmth.  I got it in the summer time.  There are several grades and the higher grades (more layers) are less likely to retain body heat.  Also I bought a waterproof mattress because of the pets and you cannot spill on the mattress because liquid harms it.  That also helps deflect the heat.

Yes, they are more expensive than regular mattresses but well worth it.  They have a 20 year warranty.  For the first 10 years they will replace the mattress at no charge and the next 10 it is prorated.  A regular mattress is prorated from the get go.

I bought mine from a store that had one of those deal of no interest for 5 years so that works for me and my monthly payment is very affordable.

Also they come with a 90 day return policy so if you buy one and dont like it it can be returned.  I would not trade mine for the world.  I was told to get the temperapedic brand as others do not compare so I did.  I am not sorry.  It molds to your body and supports you so you feel like you are laying on a cloud.  I wake up free of aches and pains from my arthritis, no backaches etc. If someone sleeps with you you cannot feel them move a muscle.  The cats come and go and I do not know they are there until they come up to my face or other body part.  They can play, have all night wrestling matches and I never know it unless it becomes a knock down drag out fight.

I could go on and on but I think you get the picture.  They have a web site.  Check it out.

Hi folks!

I love the snow and was out at 7:30 and again at 10 and the roads were OK both times in town. Now that I don't have to go to work, I wanted to be out in the snow. Go figure! Tomorrow could be another thing, though because our street is about the last to be plowed and the PT Cruiser is too low to the ground for deep snow--so we shall see!

Stay safe!

Connie
