New Year's Eve Day Roll Call
Revision on 04/19/13
Good Morning,
It was a messy drive home yesterday. Hopefully it will not be bad today.
Today is my last week to work 4 days until fall. My decision to cut a day.
Everyone have a Happy New Year, and stay safe, stay sober, keep warm.

Good morning to you all!
It's the last day of the year--could these years fly by any faster? We are so grateful for our WLS and being able to move better and live easier.
We are cooking red beans and rice for friends tomorrow even though we will only get a bite of rice--a taste for luck. Looking forward to spending a lovely day with folks we enjoy--maybe watching TV and the football games, though that's not a big deal here.
Have a lovely and SAFE New Years Eve!

Good Evening
Thought I would chime in and wish you a fond farewell to 2009 before we welcome 2010! I am not sure where today went but it did.
I flunked the course in connecting my wii last night. Finally put in a plea for help with the satellite company. They have the goofiest setups possible. I have to use 3 different remote controls to use my VCR and found out I need a different set of cables to connect my Wii as my vcr is taking up the ones the Wii would use. You would think you would not have to have an engineering degree to connect everything together. Why they make it so complicated I have no idea. On top of that it doesn't help to get customer service reps that say "I have no idea how to do that" Umm, it is your system I am trying to work with and never had this problem with Direct TV so I think you need to help me figure it out. Thank goodness for supervisors.
So once I get the right cables, I now know how to set everything up.
No special plans for tonight or tomorrow. Just laying low. Hope everyone has a safe evening!

That is the way I have mine hooked up. I turn on the VCR then use the VCR remote to switch to alt and then turn the Wii on. Actually my cable is also run through the primary input for my VCR so the VCR is always on. The channel changing part of my tv went out about fifteen years ago. The tv is 21 now and the VCR is even older. I have a hard time upgrading tngs that still work and PTL Sherry is the same way as she keeps me around.
