Hi Nancy,

I've read about your problems with Dish.  I have dish, and am ok with it.  I was having a problem awhile back when I had my regular DVR, not my new HD one.  ANyway, it seemed like the DVR went out more often than it should.  they'd send me a new one, I'd hook it up, etc.  Well finally one time the passed me on to some tech guy that was higher up and I told him how many times I had my DVR replaced.  He told me I needed to have their guy come out and adjust the dish on the roof.  It cost $100 to have them Luckily, I had a just a satellite receiver in my bedroom, not a DVR, and I brought it out and hooked it to my big TV and that got my through until I rec'd the new DVR.  It sounds, though like that isn't your set up.  Good Luck.  Just thought I'd share my travails!  georgie

Today is the last day for my WLS-research bender. ;) My job get**** with our busiest time of the year for the next three weeks, so I'll probably feel rode hard and put up wet by the end of each day for a while. My goal is to keep drinking my water (still pre-op!) and eating right. Hubby is giving me push-back on planning the week's menus, which we've been doing for the past couple of months in an attempt to eat better (I pick the breakfast and lunch menus b/c I'm the one eating them, but I feel it's critical to consult him/get to consensus on the dinner plans, as he's the guy who has to cook them and have them ready for the child and me -- all of us ---to eat). I'm not sure why he's not cooperating. Hope this isn't a sign of how he'll collaborate post-surg. I'm not going to ignore it, though. We will be discussing this tonight (hope to keep the tone light) --- unfortunately he and DD have a veeeery limited palate that centers around hot dogs and crap pizza. Sigh. --- Hope the week brings WOWs to you all!

Hi... 

It is evening now, so basically my husband and I slept in, had breakfast, went to the gym, and now he is in the garage and I am watching Playoff Football!!!  Supposedly we have a scarey movie to watch later, but it all depends on when the game ends and when he is done downstairs.

Oh, and DISHES!!!  Forgot about that one...
