Monday Morning Roll Call
Another dark and gloomy morning but heck it's another day of possibilities at the beginning of another week of opportunities!
Can you tell I already had some coffee this morning?
Today I am going to have a busy day of dealing with those devilish details. Gotta call doctors for refills, gotta call a Yoga studio to set up a workshop for my arthritis suppot group, gotta call the Y to work out the details of our membership and the list just goes on and on.
Last night I sat and tried to plan out an exercise schedule. I have the motivation, I just hope I have the staying power to stick with it. I'm trying to keep it where I won't get into a rut, so I'm looking at:
Mondays: Water Exercise
Tuesdays: Lap Swimming
Wednesdays: Power Hour (it's a weight lifting class)
Thursdays: Lap Swimming
Friday: Water Exercise
And the days that I just cannot face getting into a swimsuit I will either walk around the inside track or will do the stationary bike. But I figure all of the water will be best on my crappy joints.
Well I hope everyone finds a way to see the brightness in their monday!

Good morning Illinoisans!
There is a snow forecast for later which will make the view outside pretty again and I;m looking forward to that. The snow cover is so important for the plants and grass that I am happy to see it. Since this is pothole time I need to go get a new rim this morning since I broke the previous one on a pothole! You wouldn't think only driving less than five miles a day that I could avoid this, but there are potholes between me and the yarn store! Such problems!! It reminds me to be grateful for everything else in my life!
Have a great day! It's all in the attitude!

I will agree with you, it is crappy today, again. But at least we are one day closer to spring and warmth.
The road construction goes on. They started at 6:30 this morning.
Carol, your exercise plan looks very ambitious. Don't overplan.
I am heading for work, no plans for after, except to stop at the $store.
Stay safe, warm and dry, they are talking of snow, again

Huggers,
Lisa
Good morning friend!
Carol your workout sched sounds great! Good luck and keep the good attitude!
Connie, boy am I knitting away! Those potholes are some dangerous things!!!! But you are right, it's all in the attitude:)
It's nice to see ya again Lisa! Is anyone else having problems typing on OH? This stinks!!
Well, on Feb 1st I'm starting my training for Rockfords half marathon. Then on March 21st I'm doing the Shamrock Shuffle downtown Chicago. I had my surgery March 20th 2008 so this would be the perfect reminder how far I've come!! It's a 8k, so we'll see how that goes????
I leave Wed. for FL. for the Mecum Auction. 5 days with men and cars, I don't know if I can handle that!!!!! At least it's good $$$!
I hope everyone had a good weekend:0) I can't wait for the snow again!
Kim
Even if you are going to Florida for work, it is still better weather then here.Have fun.
Hugs, Lisa
Hi Kim!
I have been having problems typing on OH for WEEKS using my work computer. Of course, that is where I usually check in during breaks.
I also wanted to let you (and anyone else who cares....) know that the "Wizard of Oz" performance is Feb. 5th, 6th & 7th. David and Liv are both in this show. Tickets are on sale at www.ctpytp.org.
Liv is a little miffed. She is an ensemble cast member, and David wound up with 3 "parts" two of which are speaking. He will be one of the mayor's "secret service agents", Tree #1 and the Head Winkie. Oh well, they are having fun!
