Saturday Roll Call

During our two week prep we had to drink 5 servings of Carnation Instant Breakfast each day and so that's clearly what we had for dinner. We were not allowed to eat any solid food except jello (not red). We were both amazingly not particularly hungry on this plan.

I haven't been posting but I have been lurking. My mom is in the hospital and now I've been visiting her. Not much going on...will check in again.
Don't forget to "spring forward" and check your batteries!

I hope your mom is doing better.  My dad was just admitted today.  He has a respirtory infection but when you have COPD and you are on oxygen 24/7 a small infection can be a big deal.  So they admitted him to get the infection under control.  They said he will be fine.  You know his doctor said he could live at least another 5 years if he would stop smoking...yeah he smokes...can you believe it. 

I'm sorry to hear your dad is in the hospital too! At least they are both in a place with 24 hour care. (((Crystal))) I know you can use a few of them!

hi, i wanted to tell you that before i had my surgery , hubby and i  picked up  All  DRINKS we could find, in all the flavors, only one of eack  lol, then afer surgery we kept track of which ones i liked, My taste changed A LOT after surgery, so some  that were tolerable  before surgery were really nasty after surgery! good luck to you on your surgery, it is a great tool, denise



the sink odor i usually put  a cup of baking soda in the drain, follow up with a cup of vinegar, it gets all foamy, i let it stand all night,  my sister swears by pouring lemon juice in the drain and letting it sit all night!!
