Saturday Roll Call

Good Morning Everyone,

Guess what? If you haven't shopped for your Easter goodies yet, you better do so today. Tomorrow is Easter Sunday. My family wanted steaks instead of the traditional ham, lamb or turkey, so I did wait to go to the meat market today to get the freshest meat possible.

I also have to go to Kmart today as well. I need to get a couple of pairs of shorts. The ones I wore last summer are all to big. Maybe a new pair of sandles too.

Other then that, I already have eggs on to color, and a jello started. The table is almost done, and I need to clean a couple of rooms.
Ithink I will be glad to go back to work Monday to relax.

Hello everyone

I am so happy it's Saturday.  The only things I have to do today is go scout out some locations for my daughter's graduation party.  I was told by the Oswego Park District that we can reserve the picnic shelters at the parks.  So I am going to go and visit some of the parks.  It supposed to rain today otherwise I was going to have a nice day of walking around in the parks. I am thinking that might be a nice party site.  Especially since my daughter loves nature.  And there will be things for the little kids to do while us big people have our own fun.

I don't do much for Easter and the stuff that I do is done. 

Lisa-  I think it's great to make whatever your family wants for Easter.  We did the same thing for Easter and Christmas.  I remember having lasagna for Easter one year.  Which is fine with me...I don't like ham.

I am home from the test. The barium went through me fast due to my insides being rearranged but it also is out the other end already. I am tired of being familiar with where every restroom is at everywhere I go so I better get the results of these tests soon so I can get on a med to get it under control.

We are waiting for my niece to call and tell us when she is going to come take away our 36" TV. Our new Samsung LED will be installed on Thursday. It will be nice to not have the big Sony in the corner of the family room. After that we will order Uverse and after that we have a La Z Boy recliner love seat table combo picked out to watch the new TV. The new chairs will not be bought until later in the summer.

We will go to one of Willow's 6 Easter services this afternoon at 2pm. Last night our Good Friday service was great and very thought provoking. Tomorrow we will go out to eat with my brother and his wife. It is our treat to them because they cover most of the food costs for Christmas Day.

 Good Afternoon Everyone!

Well the sun is shining right now but it is not as warm as the last few days, but I will take that over rain.  I have some errands to run today and I hate to do them in the rain.  Tomorrow, my sister has talked about meeting in Rockford for lunch.  Not sure if it will come together but need my errands out of the way in case we do get together.  I don't really know any great restaurants there so if anyone has any suggestions, I am open to them.  

I am glad to see the weekend.  This will be a short week for me.  I have Thursday and Friday off.  Thursday is my 2 year WLS checkup.  

Lisa, congratulations on having to buy smaller shorts.  That is always a great feeling!  Christine, I am glad you made it through your tests.  Those are not fun tests to have.  Crystal, enjoy your weekend! 

I hope everyone has a Happy Easter.  

I had choir practice at 8am, Easter egg hunt at 10 am work 12 to 8 pm get ready for church tomorrow. Sun rise service a 7 am , breakfast at 8 , Sunday school at 9:30, church at 10:45 (contata) then crash until evening.

Afternoon, everyone,

I've  sort of been a slug today, my left side is hurting some so I didn't do much at all.  Didn't sleep too well either so that probably isn't helping.  Knitted a little and finally got out for a walk which felt good.

Lisa, steak sounds much better than ham to me.  Congrats on the shorts, nothing feels better than that.

Nancy, congrats on two years, has it flown by?

Hope you had luck party searching, Crystal and didn't get too wet.  We had some good rains here in New Lenox this morning.

My turn to whine and cry everyone. I am so disgusted with this issue of mine. I have had my own set of probs today from wondering if I need to start wearing Depends . . . I have gone the gambit of emotions of crying, shaking my head after reading symptoms of Crohn's's to denial.  . .

On a side note my niece came and got the TV and the stand. She is going to have her oldest boy use it in his bedroom for videos and games. It is not a digital set so what she has planned for will work fine. It is so nice to get it out of here.
