Sunday Roll Call
Good morning everyone and good news - we have one more day to the weekend - WOOHOO! For us it is a day to relax after yesterday at Navy Pier. We always enjoy that event.
We have to wait today until 10am in the house because ComCast needs to come out and see what is the problem with our boxes. The girl at the office on Thursday could not get them to respond and activate the HD stations.
Later on today I will putter around with my plants down in the basement. I have to rearrange my Topsy poles out in the back as I did not like the configuration that I put them in last year.
Have a wonderful day!

Good Morning Illinois,
Yesterday I really didn't get to much done, since I decided to road trip with my DD and DGD. We drove down to Cuba, Illinois, and went to an Amish Bakery. This is way out in the countryside, and is a true Amish store. No electric or phone, . They use gas lights, and still dress in their fashion. I love going there, because besides bakery, you can get a lot of dried foods as well as other supplies. About 1 mile from there, there is an Amish store, that reminds you of the general stores of old. Everything from "soup to nuts".
I am planning on planting some flowers this morning. Then we are going to Utica for a late lunch with the family for my birthday.
What are you doing?
Stay safe,
Huggers,
LISA

I didn't know there was an Amish area over in that area of IL. We go down to the Tuscola & Arcola area once in a while. Actually we are staying down there overnight on Thursday while we are on our way down to see my sister in IN. Actually there is a small Amish settlement in southern IN where Mary & Bob live.
It is still a little too early for me to plant any flowers. I will put out the peas in when I come back from IN.

Good morning Chris and the rest of Illinois!
I am looking forward to one more day of weekend and not sure what I will do yet. I will go out and clean up the yeard from last night's Christmas Tree Burn, and help Todd bottle the batch of beer he is brewing. Besides that, we will see.......
Everyone have an awesome day!
