Thursday Roll Call

Good Morning all! Few last things for me to pack and then I am out the door to the salt mines. We leave right at 3pm when I get out. I take my PC with so I will be in contact. We are really looking forward to going as we have not been up there since Thanksgiving.

Hello everyone

Amanda comes tomorrow!!!

Last night I went and bought all of the soda, water, chips for the party.  So on Saturday all I have to do is pick up the chicken, salads, balloons and the ice.  I have everything completely set out and ready to go...like I said I am an excessive planner.  We are excepting about 30-40 people.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good weather...so far so good!!!   

I also went and picked up some vegetarian friendly food for Amanda while she is home.  I always way over buy and let her take home all of the extras.  That way she can save some money on groceries.   

Today after work I have a manicure and pedicure appointment.  What a nice way to unwind after work.

WOOHOO! to you and Amanda coming home tomorrow - which is only about 10 minutes away as I type this.

I am doing bookwork this morning, plus becoming Merry Maid for a few hours. Then off to Bloomington for Morgans final concert for the year. It is also her real birthday. I would like to get out to the garden today too, since I went and got the rest of the plants after work yesterday.

Everyone have a great day, tomorrow is Friday, so the weekend is coming.

Thanks Lisa, we are having a great time already. We have enjoyed and shared a burger at a local joint and then walked over to a place that we know has live entertainment on a Thurs. and we were not disappointed with the guy that sings at a local Italian place.

Lisa and Crystal----the weather FINALLY seems to be looking good.

Liv's ceremony was the usual.  She got 4 awards and the "Academic Award" which is a small pendant, suitable for a necklace, that shows she has maintained at least a 3.5 GPA for the last two years.  Pretty cool, I guess.  Now, I have to find her a chain for it.

We enjoyed sitting in the sunshine with our neighbors after getting home from the ceremony.  It was nice to be home early and be able to relax like that.

David and I are heading to Milwaukee tomorrow after school to see the Nickelback concert.  There are 3 other bands and I won the tickets, so I am taking him as part of his birthday present.  I think it is pretty cool that he is not embarrassed to go with me.

Todd will be camping with his Boy Scouts over the weekend and I hope to get my flowers planted.

Dawn, we are enjoying so far. It was a breeze through the Rockford area except for the semis that liked to hug the left side of the lane, talk about nail biter! We waved - did you see it?
