Tuesday Roll Call

Good Morning Illinois,

   Looks like it will be another warm day.  I was wondring yesterday why the ac was not being as effective/affective as I would have liked.  At 5:30 this morning I figured out it was the other end of the ridge on the thermostat that should be pointing to the right.  Here is hoping everyone else stays cool today at least to the extent of no heat strokes enjoying the day too much.

'bout ready to start my day. Have taken Dave to the airport so he can go out and visit with his mom in Des Moines. He had to take a flight in order to keep his United Miles. I will be dragging butt later today because of waking up so early, I'll get over it.

We turned on our AC yesterday also. We always like to see how long we can go without it on but yesterday it was freakn hot in the house when we got home. Usually we can make it until at least mid June.

Hello everyone

Back at work this morning.  We have this new time clock system and it's a pain in the butt.  Sometimes technology is a step backwards.  It's much easier just to walk up to a time clock and punch in. 

Well my weekend was nice and it went by so fast.  Amanda left yesterday afternoon.  I was really thinking about chaining her to her room and not letting her leave the house...hahaha.  Before she left we all went on a walk downtown Oswego.  We went to the book store, thrift store, bike shop and she toured the newly renovated library.  It was a nice day.

Well nothing going on for a couple of days.  My best friend's birthday is Friday.  So I will going to her house Friday after work.  Then Saturday me and a friend are going out to eat and then we are going to the movies to see "Sex and The City 2".

Good morning Randy and the rest of Illinois!

Randy, sounds like you had a busy day yesterday.  I love the produce that they have at the Valli in Loves Park, but I so seldom get over that way.

Working today, then home to plant some more.  I think I will also fire up the grill for dinner.

When I got home yesterday, I turned on the AC.  The house was shut up with all the shades/curtains drawn and it was not terrible, but late in the day is when it gets bad.  It was much better with it on, and according to the weather man, I will be able to turn it back off here within a day or so.

I was thinking that I had a free weekend, and I all of a sudden remembered that I have a bridal shower on Saturday.  bummer......  Anyone have any good suggestions for something that won't cost an arm and a leg and will be useful and memorable??????
