Thursday Roll Call
If my body will cooperate and get out a few kinks I think Sherry and I are going into the loop and see what trouble we can get into.
Y'all have a great day.
Well Randy either I didn't get any rain last night or I slept through it.
The last few days have been so busy at work. It's month end and I always stress out. But on top of that we are down one person, so I have extra work to do. I can't wait till Friday.
I broke my vacuum cleaner. I always break them. I don't know what I do but apparently I am very hard on them. I was vacuuming and smoke was coming out of the engine part of the vacuum...what did I do??? I found out there is a "fix it " shop in Aurora...they will fix vacuums for $25-30, so I will take it there to see what they can do. I just bought this stupid vacuum last June (it's not even a year old). On Saturday I will drop it off and see if I can get this one fixed.
Well enough about me...how are you guys doing??? Have a nice day.
We have had no rain in the last 2 or 3 days. I know, my garden has to be watered every evening.
My last day of work for 6 weeks or so. This has been a bad work year, and this break is coming at the right time.
My side yard is ready to be churned up, so we can plant new bushes and such in the next couple of weeks. Looking forward to the change.
Have a great day, stay safe.
Huggers, LISA
We had rain also at about 530pm while we were watching the news. I am not sure if it rained overnight by us as I was dead to the world after I hit the rack.
We had the same experiences when looking back over how much we had lost and our pre op life. We just shake our heads in amazement. Enjoy the Loop. We more than likely are going to go down next Sunday for my birthday. I would like to go on the architectural river tour again.
Just found out a short while ago that the bosses are golfing today WOOHOO. Not much for me other than sitting here and taking up space at work. Dave is mowing the lawn so I have some follow up things to do after he is finished I will use the blower for clearing off the sidewalk and driveway.

I am working today and have been a bit busy this morning.
All is well with Olivia and her surgery for (another) tube placement is set for June 10. This will be her 9th, we think. I kind of lost track over the years, but she insists she has had 8. Hopefully, these will help and stay in for a while. The doctor told us to just realize that she has "crappy ears" and may never grow out of her issues. She may have to have some major surgery at some time in the future, but we can always hope not.
After work, I am heading home for dinner and hopefully to plant more flowers. I am so happy that my iris' and peonys have bloomed! Peonies smell SO GOOD!
That's about it for me!
You all have a spectacular day!
