Monday Roll Call
Happy Monday Folks, Today flew by!!
Tomorrow I go back to the YMCA, Last week when I went, I did 4 laps around . Then I rode the bike for about 20 min at my speed. An I'm telling you I drove home and went to bed. Not sure what did it, the excercise or me getting up early. But I slept for 2 hours.
So we will see what happens to me tomorrow. I think I will try some weights, Just 20 lbs and see what that does to me.
The bike seems to help my leg. Ever since I got out of surgery I have this pinch nerve issue when I want to lay down. Not a pleasant feeling to say the least.
My incisions looked better today. Just wish the medicine tasted better. Nasty stuff. I decided to call it quits on all band aids, they irritate my skin, and that irritates my incisions, So I quit done with them. NO more.
Talk at you tomorrow.
Happy Tuesday!

Christine your not going to like what the surgeon told me... I'm not listening by the way!
My surgeon told me not to go over 100 lbs. Now my primary care doctor told me not to go over 20 lbs.
I did not have any good luck with the surgeon I went too. Matter of fact when I seen him last week, he said my incisions looked fine. Now I had pus coming out of one. I'm not a nurse nor am I a doctor but I know when something is wrong. So the very same day I called my doctor I went in and he said " If you run a fever this weekend you call me ASAP".
If it wasn't for this site, I probably would not know what to do at all. But if you think I should wait on doing any types of lifting, I will go to the bike and do the walking on the track again. I'm fine with that. I'm just trying to follow routine, like today I did not feel like walking, so I didn't. I don't push myself. But once I feel i'm getting better I will push a little harder each time.
