Rockford Support Group

Can anyone tell me if the Rockford Support group is still meeting?  I was there last month and no one showed up.  Previous meetings fewer and fewer people were attending.  I would like to know if we are still meeting or is it disbanding?  Would like to know so I can make plans to join another group if possible.  Thanks to whoever responds.  Cheryl

I have not heard anything about it disbanding and I hope that is not the case.

I would have been there, but Todd is out at Summer Camp with the Scouts and I am responsible for gettting the 2 kids to all their different activities and volunteer opportunities by myself this week.  It doesn't really help that they are in WAY different areas.

Last night, Olivia had rehearsal in Pecatonica, after they each worked all day, he at Camp Winnebago, she at the Discovery Center, on top of me working on the south east side.

For me, personally, it is hard to stay in town so late when there is so much to do at home.  The temptation to go home at 4 is pretty great when there are things to do and kids to run all over.  I DO have it on my calendar for the whole year, and I REALLY NEED to attend, but sometimes, my life gets in the way.

Hopefully, Connie will see this and let us know her thoughts.

What if the time and day were to change, I know its hard for me to stay in town so late after I get out of work also.   But I do love meeting up with group members prior to the meeting.    Lets not let this group fizzel out.

Maybe a once a month dinner metting?????

This week he had one person who just had surgery in Lap Band in Mexico, and then we had another young lady that we looking into lapband.
