Tuesday Roll Call
Good Morning Illinois,
Missing a lot of y'all out there. I know now that I am much lighter and much more active I often forget to drop by here but I do need to do that. Folks here kept me from going completely bezerk and I need to be part of that for others.
My older squash plants are acting like they want to bud but no flowers yet.

Good morning Randy and the rest of Illinois!
I have stopped by, but did not have time to post. Crazy busy! You are right though, we need to be support for each other and especially for the newer ones.
Lisa, David is in the DC area now and it is hot and humid. When we went a few years ago, we went the first week of August also. It was pretty hot and humid and poured rain at least once per day. (There WAS a hurricane to the south that year.) You will find that everything is VERY air conditioned, so it is just the outdoor walking between sites that can be uncomfortable. It seemed that there was never that far between sites though. The only disappointing thing at this time of year is that Congress is not in session, so you can tour the buildings, but not see them in "action". It was a great vacation, but NOT restful. There is SO much to see and do and we came home missing at least 1/3 of what we had hoped to see. I hope you have a great time!!!!!
As I said, David was in DC Saturday through yesterday. Then, they went to Fort A.P. Hill and checked in at the Jamboree. The tent city with almost 45,000 people went up in a matter of hours! I really wish I could find some good news footage on the web so I could see this. On this Saturday (31st) they are having a huge webcast of the 100th anniversary of Scouting Celebration and Todd and I are thinking of attending a screening here in Rockford. We could watch it at hime, but think it will be more fun to watch with others.
I got him off at 3:30 am Saturday, then came home to sleep before "A Day in Rock City". Todd called about 9 to say that they were stuck at the camp because of the flooding. They should have been home before noon, but they finally arrived about 2:30, just in time for the "Swiss Canoes". Todd's team took 2nd!
Janet and Jim came out and we had a great time! It was SO GOOD to see her. She is doing well. Battling a small weight gain, but I KNOW she can get on it! She seemed very healthy and happy and what more can we ask?
Olivia got home from Cheer Camp yesterday and had fun. Her team got a trophy for "Most Improved" and 2 Blue Ribbons and 1 Red Ribbon for their routines.
Now, it is back to the grindstone with rehearsals and work.
That's my "saga" for now......
I hope everyone has a spectacular day!!!!

Welcome, welcome, welcome!
I grew up in the Rockton/Roscoe area! Godd to have you stop by!
Please, come by often! Here you will find the most friendly, supportive group on OH!! (IMHO).
We support each other through our weight loss journey and beyond, into daily life.
We have get togethers a 3-4 times a year, and the next is in Streeter, IL at Lisa's house on August 14. Families are welcome and Lisa is an awesome person!
Hope to see more of you. We hang out on the Daily roll call, but specific questions should have their own topic to be answered more efficiently!

Hey, it is Farmer Randy! Good to see you. I seem to be loosing my Sweet 100 cherry tomato plants as all the leaves are curling up and turning brown but it is still ripening the fruit. I have had an S-load of Jalapeno peppers and have been making a lot of homemade salsa. I discovered at one grocery store that Tostito Scoops have a Hint of Jalapeno flavor and it is oh so good.
Working and then home to straighten up a bathroom because we are having a house guest from South Africa for Willow's upcoming Leadership Summit Conference. I do not want to leave everything to the last minute before she arrives.

Hello all!
Work was slow today so I got to come home early! I Love this. It is like getting an unexpected vacation. Tomorrow I have off and I am traveling to Naperville to have lunch with my niece and sister and my new great nephew. I get to see Enzo for the first time and am so excited! We are going to Maggiano's which is super yummy.
Right now, I am sitting here and smelling dinner in the crockpot. Cant wait to taste it. It is boneless, skinless chicken breasts, rice and a pineapple, peach chipolte sauce. It smells heavenly. I think it will be a huge success! I am having fun experimenting. No recipes.
No special plans for my unexpected afternoon off other than wrapping baby presents.
Have a great day!
