Oh my Lisa, I am so glad you still have him too! Prayers are being said for Hubert. If I had read this sooner I would have stopped in and gave you a big hug for support! You are so right, and we should love our family as much as we can, do not take them for granted! We never know what tomorrow holds for us!

Hi everyone!

Dad is doing great considering what he went through.  He had to have a pacemaker put in yesterday.  They did the surgery at 3:00 p.m. and by 5:00 p.m.  He was ordering dinner (Yankee pot roast).

We will be heading to Peoria a bit latter on today also.

It snowed last night- 2 inches of white light flaky snow.  It was not forcasted-only flurries.  Is 2 inches still considered flurries?

Have a wonderful day!

I think that the weather people messed up on this. We were not supposed to get snow either.

Drive safely.

I am so glad your dad is ok!  That is so frightening for both you and your mom!  I am so thankful that sh happened to be home when your dad passed out which allowed him to get immediate care.  Treasure your time with your dad.  He is someone very special.   I lost mine when I was 35 so I realize the importance of having them around.

Good morning all,
Lisa and Hafsis, I am going out on a limb, but I take it you two are mom and daughter?!  I am so glad your husband/dad is doing better.  What a scary thing to go through.  Lisa even though you will be at the hospital with your hubby, congrats on 45yrs together!!!  What a wonderful accomplishment.
Last night we ended up buying our washer and dryer at Best buy.  The price was lower than what Lowes was advertising, PLUS they gave us free delivery and hauling away of the old set.  Can't complain.  My hubby was happy we came in under budget.
My daughter is at Winter Retreat this weekend so tonight we are taking my son and his friend to the Wolves game.  We have a free ticket and the boys like watching the girls on skates.  Go figure.  Plus this young man is from a divorced family and does like his own dad and has adopted my hubby as his surrogate dad.  He is always looking for reasons to be here.  I guess here is better than out finding trouble.
Well I hope all have a great day
Debbie
