Monday Roll Call
Good morning Illinois!!!!!
I took Friday afternoon off and got my "hair did". I got two tone highlights and a cut. I got a Groupon and needed to try something new. I am very happy with this stylist. She did just what I asked and was very pleasant to talk with.
Olivia has been sick since last Thursday and I spent Saturday making a big pot of chicken soup. Half of that turned into Chicken and Dumplings for Todd and he love it. He ate 3 bowls the first night and almost finished it off last night. He has enough left for today's lunch.
I am glad to hear that Julie is doing better. How scary!
Today it is back to work, looking forward to the weekend. This weekend is Todd's Christmas Party weekend, when we stay at a hotel. It is always a welcome change from our usual lives.
I have signed up for a "Women's Wellness" seminar at my surgeon's office on Feb 5. It sounds like a very good thing. Yoga is on the menu along with topics of concern to women who have had surgery. I think it will be a nice way to spend the day.
Well, back to work for me! Everyone have a lovely day!

Hello everyone
I have been so busy...It's month end...again. I will be gone half of the day tomorrow so I have to get more stuff done.
I'm excited about tomorrow. I will get see my Amanda. It's a month since I saw her. I wish I would be able to find a job down there. There are hardly any jobs down there...compared to the Chicago area. I'm lucky if I find 1-2 jobs to send resumes to per week.
I'm already looking forwar to next weekend. winter makes me lazy and tired. I just want to stay inside and snuggle under my blanket.

I got out of ICU last night. They are still concerned about my pulse (122) today. They did a ultrasound on my heart, ekg, stress test. I'm waiting for the results. It will be nice to know what's going on, if anything. And I would really like to go home!
Chicken soup sounds wonderful! It is amazing how not hungry I am!
I agree with Christine that I don't like winter much since it makes me lazy. I heard it's super cold out and I should be happy to be in the hospital during the freezing temps!

I will be happy when winter ends. I am tired of bundling up every time I go out, and then having to undress when you get somewhere. I think its only 56 days until spring. Even if it is still cold, knowing that spring will be budding out is always a treat.
I worked today, drove in thick fog, but thank goodness I didn't have to drive out of town.
Now, I am going on the treadmill then make dinner,

Good Evening Everyone!
What a goofy day for me. It was one of those days when lots went wrong but you just had a good laugh over everything. Not much else you can do. My customers were in the same type of mood so I had lots of good laughs today.
I am eating my Cilantro Lime Chicken. It turned out pretty good. I was laughing yesterday as it was cooking because you could smell it and the spices and my cat Claude was sneezing his head off. I thought maybe he was allergic to one of the spices but he is still sneezing today so he must have a cold.
Dawn, I hope you have a good time this weekend. That always sounds like a nice party.
Crystal, have fun tomorrow! That will be an exciting day! Is Amanda coming to Chicago or you going to Champaign?

I scheduled my back surgery tonight for Feb 25th. Have to get cardiac clearance and medical clearance from my doctor. Why does this sound familiar? I just did this all a year ago. This is getting old.

Good evening cyber friends,
Wow since being back to work, I just can seem to get on here any earlier!! Oh well. Today was a good day at work. I feel so fortunate that I work with great people and the parents are all so sweet. Not sure if I ever explained, but I have 6 students who all range in the severe to profound retardation level. I have 3 students that are walkers and 3 in wheelchairs. This job can be very physical as the students in wheelchairs need to get out and have positional changes throughout the day. Today I had a mom come in and cook with us. It was fun and everyone laughed and had a good time.
I am doing ok the weight is slow and steady. Tonight I roasted achicken and YEAH me, the chicken sat well. Small and tiny bites!!
I am having an odd craving--- Orange Juice. I can not seem to get enough! I have been drinking the Tropicanna 50. 50% less sugar and very yummy.
