ROD Baviarin Meatballs
12 oz tomato based chili sauce
1 (16 oz) can whole berry cranberry sauce
27 ounces Bavarian style sauerkraut undrained
1 c. water
1 c. brown sugar (I used splenda brown sugar)
1 (16 oz) frozen meatballs (I used turkey)
optional
1 can pineaple chunks using juice in place of water
In the crockpot combine all ingredients except meatballs and stir until blended. Add meatballs. Cook, covered at medium temperature for 4 hours stirring occasionally to coat meatballs
NOTE: I thought this was on the sweet side. I dont know if it was because I used the pineapple and juice. Next time my preference would be to cut the brown sugar by 1/2 cup. I guess it depends on how sweet you want your meatballs.
