Tuesday Roll Call
Crystal, this is the first UTI I have ever had. In retrospect I have been having some issues in this dept. for a while. I have been looking back on what has been going on with me and can now see what has led up to where I am at right now. When I go back in on Monday he is going to discuss with me about going to a urologist for further treatment. I hope that it is not medication but rather something permanent to fix the situation even if that means surgery. More than likely it is a prolapsed bladder due to age and being MO for so many years is what he concludes. This is miserable and I never want to go through it again if I can help it. He has me on Levaquin which I have taken in the past when I had pneumonia and my body reacts well to it.

Glad work was good yesterday Julie!
I go back to the surgeon today for the results of my latest CT scan and hear which kind of surgery he wants to do (or if he even still wants to). If they finally found the internal intestinal hernia they were looking for then they will obviously repair that and mesh my intestines into place. If they find nothing then it will be time for exploratory surgery. 4 months of pain, nausea, and vomiting and not being able to eat solid food all the time and I am kind of done with the whole mess! SF pudding tastes good but living off of it for the most part of 4 months is a little much! My diet has mostly consisted of mushy easy to swallow foods for the last 4 months because solid food hurts to digest.
I really hope they have SOMETHING to tell me.
Oh and PLEASE, weather, WARM UP!

Thank you Christine. No such luck for answers. CT was clear. H. Pylori was negative. Now he wants to stick one of those GI camera scopes in my stomach on Monday. I'm glad the CT was clear (although that does not mean 100% there isn't a hernia it makes it much less likely I guess). So I go in Monday at noon to have the scope done and some possible biopsies.
Fingers crossed we can figure something out!
