Hello everyone

I have most of my desk packed.  Is this showing too much eagerness...hahaha.

I worked out yesterday with out much pain.  Though, I still didn't work on my lower body.  I will today. 

I can't wait till I get settled in my new place and get it furnished.  I am worried about getting rid of the extra "stuff" I don't want to take with me.  I will advertise on Craiglist but I am very leery about letting strangers into my house.  So I will have to figure out a way to let them in but not be alone with them. 

Nancy- I wish there was a way we could retire and not work anymore!!!!

My internet was off since last night. Not sure what the problem was, i called mediacom and he couldn't tell me anything. Anyway, it is on now.

Heading out in a few min. to rumn some errands, and stop at a wake. Not my favorite thing to do.

Was able to finish cleaning 2nd bedroom this morning. One more to go. That one is going to take some time, its a real mess.

tomorrow I will go for medical tests, then wait to see what comes up  with them.

 Good Afternoon Everyone!

Well, today was easier to get out of bed than yesterday when that alarm went off.  I also went to sleep earlier last night.  Work went fine.  I am back on the phones but it is amazing how much I forgot!  I remember the processes but not the codes!  I know it will all come back in a short time but meantime -- YIKES!

This afternoon I went to the audiologist to get some tubing for my hearing aids. For some reason they keep getting bent.  She was on vacation last week so that was a problem.  I also haave PT.  I ran around awhile trying to find an ice bag.  Those things are becoming obsolete.  The phamacist at Target looked at me as if I was half cracked when I asked for one.  They only sell the gel pads that you put in the freezer.  Those are nice but if you need to keep re-icing an area, one pad is not enough.  

I also think this heat is getting to me.  I wi**** would cool off some but it doesn't look like it is going to any time soon.

All is better it came out to be I have a bad heart Valve that I have always had from a child....They passed me for surgery on monday and thank you for all the kind words yesterday...

This clear liquids is hard I am doing the every thing I need to do and my isopure...I am ready for a nap hubby has surgery at 745 so we have to be there by 645am I will be glad when they say all went well hes back to his room...

oh how I dislike Jello its day one

I am so glad to hear that things are a go!  The first 2 - 3 days of the liquid diet are a real bear!  Hang in there and keep that goal in mind.  You can do it!  Good luck to hubby tomorrow!

so true it hit me around 4pm and now I am thinking of every food under the sun I think its just time to go to bed and see what the 4am brings me;) Thanks to all your amazing OH friends

Been to the DuPage Co Fair today after the weather decided to get it out of it's system. We first stopped at Joann because I needed some beading supplies to fix a necklace that I bought in Galena. I will do that after we get back from the Dells. Then I came home and napped for 2 hours. That fair is so small that I think it would only take up about 1/32d of the Sandwich Fair (which is our favorite fair).  We are taking Amtrak up to the Dells on Saturday afternoon and will spend some time up there just resting and some R&R. We have always wanted to take Amtrak up there and here is the perfect opportunity to do so and it will be daylight to boot. We have taken this same train to Minn, MN to see a Blackhawk game back in the 80's but it is all dark at that time of year and we could not see squat!

My basil, jalapenos, Sweet 100 cherry tomatoes, parsley, Marigolds, onions, beefsteak tomatoes are just going to town. The peas need to be pulled and new seeds planted in a few weeks . . . I have made salsa with the basil and Serrano chili's many times over. I am also in the process of drying in the dehydrator and using the hot 3 season room to dry the basil. The Serrano's are regrouping right now, setting blossoms for new fruit. These peppers are hotter than jalapenos.
