Fast fly by for me. I have some catch up junk to attend to on my desk and then I want to get other trashy work that I have let sit around done also before I leave.

Good Morning Christine and IL!

Well, it was a little warmer this AM!  Chris and Lisa, enjoy your weekends.  The weather does look fabulous!

I'm getting ready for my party tomorrow.  Things are pretty much on cleaning schedule.  I am cheating and taking this afternoon off to get a jump on things!  LOL  I usually go to lunch from 1;30-2:30 and then leave at 4, so am going to lunch and 1:30 but not coming back to work.  That will give me time to clean the church, which I won't have time to do tomorrow and also get a head start (or finish) on home!

Chloe comes tonight, and she will be a great help in the morning.  We'll see what kind of party animal Roxie turns out to be.  She loves people, so I'm sure she won't lack for a lap to sit in!  She is so loving people won't be able to resist.  When I had the party last year, she was only 6 mos old and she just kept walking round and round among all the people.  This year, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Hope everyone has a super weekend.  It is SO hard to believe it is the middle of September.

Good morning Chris and the rest of Illinois!

I am working today, then a family party this evening, then out to Dakota to take pictures of Olivia at half-time.

I just realized that I forgot to tell you all how PROUD I am of LIv! 

She was chosen as the Sophmore representative to Homecoming Court!  She looked so pretty last night in the parade riding in the convertible.  Unfortunately, the boy representative is a member of the "ruling jock clique" and has been being rude to her (like he is SO much better than her and he can't believe he is stuck with her as a partner).  My Liv is handling it well.  She just said that she "does not stoop to their level" and waved and smiled and looked beautiful while he was literally pulling himself away from her and looking pissy.  I told her that I am proud of her and that in a few years, he might be sorry that he was so rude to her.

So.....that is my day and weekend......family party, Homecoming, grandkids and Playhouse on Sunday.  Some time we also have to start packing.

Dawn-  I would want to scratch that guy's eyes out.  How rude.  Just because she's not some cheerleader he's going to act like that.  But guys like that end up in some dead end jobs.  She can say HI to him when she stops at McDonalds to eat in 5 years...hahaha...Now I'm being mean

Funny, but she IS a cheerleader.....just a really smart and brainy one!  oh and beautiful too!

I will tell her what you said since that is exactly what I was thinking in theory, but could not articulate so well.

Well, the nice thing about C-U is that we just don't often see anything like that.  Last year was an exceptional snow fall.  We are just far enough south to be moderate but more prone to Ice Storms. 

Congrats on getting settled in a bit more!

 
Good Afternoon Everyone!

It is Friday!    No office computer acting up for two whole days!  That is enough to make my weekend a dream!.  Today I was kicked off the system ONLY 3 times and only twice was it not allowing me back on.  I kept telling it I was more than glad to go home but it would not listen.  

No special plans for the weekend.  Rick and I want to have a garage sale so we really should work on that.  It has been too hot to even think about holding one.  Now we have decent weather but if we dont hurry, it will be too cold.  

Chris,  I hope you have a great weekend.  Two major events in one weekend keeps one's nose clean and doesn't leave much time to get into trouble.  Too bad.  But have fun!

Georgie, I know your party will go well and you all will have a blast including Roxie.  It is nice that Chloe is here for the weekend to help.  An extra hand is soooo helpful.  

Don,  It wont be long before you are saying X number of days until surgery!  It seems to take forever to get that surgery date and then time really starts flying! 

Dawn,  Congratulations to Liv on being on the homecoming court!  That is a fantastic honor!  I am so happy for her.  She is really becoming her own woman.  The escort sounds like the ultimate jerk.  How wonderful that she can handle it with such grace.  Enjoy the family party and take lots of pictures of homecoming and be sure to post them!  

Crystal. I am so happy you now have furniture to sit in and a bed to sleep in.  Is Jasper sleeping with you?  I love sleeping and cuddling with my kitties.  Mine always brought toys to bed with them to play with because they weren't always tired but eventually they learned to sleep through the night or at least leave me alone.  I am anxious to see your pictures!
