Happy Thanksgiving Roll Call
Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!
I will be heading out to the Walgreen's to pick up the newspaper so I can look at the sales ads. I am looking for a new tree. So we will see what kind of deal I can get!!! Then I will hop in the shower and get ready. We will be leaving around 12:30. Our Thanksgiving is BIG...we have about 40-50 people that will be there.
Yesterday, I picked up Amanda and we went to the co-op and there was a full Thanksgiving buffet (all vegetarian...yuck). So Amanda got stuff and I went to Chipotle...hahaha. While I was at the co-op though I bought some farm fresh eggs and butter for my cakes I was making.
As for my cakes they came out perfect. Yeah!!!
Those of you with Facebook know that last Sunday someone took garbage that my neighbor left out at the curb all week and they dumped it on my door step. I think someone thinks it's my garbage. I called the property manager and left a message. They seem very upset by the incident. They talked to surrounding neighbors and we are hoping this won't happen again. They are at a loss as to who it could have been.
Well I hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving. See ya later.

Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone.
We will be heading to Bloomington later this morning, to spend the day with both daughters, and Monica's inlaws. I will be taking the cherry jello, made with sugar free jello, and rutabaga ( a yellow orange veggie, in the turnip family). Both of these are old family traditions from Hubert's family.
I wish everyone a great and safe Thanksgiving.
This year I am most thankful for my love, Hubert. We were very lucky last January, when he passed out in front of me, and we were able to get him to the hospital, and he was life flighted to Peoria, for a pace maker. He has had no problems since. I wasn't ready to be a widow.
Hugs to all,
LISA

Lisa...great idea...
I am thankful for so many things. I am most thankful for my extended/adopted family. Without them I would have no where to go every Thanksgiving. Other than Amanda (which is obvious) the other good thing that came from my disasterous and miserable relationship was his family. His family is so good to me. When we split up and their son abandoned me and his daughter...they stepped in and have truly been a blessing to me and Amanda both.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
What a beautiful day today! Ii hope everyone has a wonderful day with friends and family. For those traveling, please drive carefully and watch out for the other guy. For those hosting the meal, please dont over work yourselves. Enjoy the meaning of the day.
I am thankful for being relatively free of back pain this year. As much as I complain, I am thankful for my job and VERY thankful to have Rick in my life. It has been a wonderful year. I wish I could see my family more often but with everyone so spread out, it is expected.
I am not sure what we are doing for Thanksgiving. We talked about going out for dinner. We just had homemade ham and bean soup for lunch -- Yummy. With me still having problems chewing we never thought to get the turkey out and defrosting. So we will play it by ear.
Tomorrow I have to work -- Yawn. But it is supposed to be 60 degrees so Rick is assigned to put up outdoor Christmas decorations. So should have a pretty house by evening. Nothing like having someone do it for you.
Everyone have a blessed day!
