Morning/day ladies and gents, I could not sleep so instead of tossing and turning I just got up, made my bfast, coffee and started my day.

I have support group this evening. It really sounds like a great topic, eating away from the house. Our dietitian always does a great job bringing us relevant topics.

What is happening in your corner of IL?

Hello everyone

Glad that the week is almost over...I am ready to be lazy this weekend.

I was planning to go to Meijer yesterday but I ended staying at work too late so maybe I will go today.

Jasper is funny...if I open a drawer or a cabinet he is right there to stick his head in there.  It's like he is thinking "wow some where I never been...I want to go in there".  If I make the mistake of leaving a drawer open and walk away...Jasper is practically inside the drawer digging to see what's inside of it.  He is like a two year child...hahaha!!!!

Well I am hoping for a good outcome for the groundhog today!!!  We shall see.

I better get going...have a good day...bye.

Breaking news - Phil predicts 6 more weeks of winter!

I had cats that loved to get into places where they did not belong. My first Siamese loved the kitchen cabinets and then would sleep under the covers with me.

Good Morning,

Not sleeping must be contagious
. I woke up at 4:30 and couldn't get back to sleep.

It may of been because both my hip and knee were bothering me. So, I  took some meds, and used the heating pad, so hopefully, this will help. This started yesterday, I think because I was cold at work.

It looks like the fog is getting worst. I am so glad that I will be in our Streator office today.

Dawn, how about the phone number for the photographer?. I used to krnw of one in Peoria, but can't remember who she was.I may be interested too.

Nancy, the Dr. said, that my lightheadedness is due to my blood pressure, nothing to do for it, When I see my heart specialist this spring, I will ask him about it.

I did watch a part of that TV program last night. I probly won'****ch it again. Two hours is way to much time.

Be careful today,

Hugs,
LISA

My hips and back are "aching" me also but I think that I am laying in bed too much. I am still real tired and go to bed sometimes at 730-800pm.

Good Morning Everyone!

What a beautiful morning!  Not nice for driving but very pretty outside!  It looked like a winter wonderland.  Just glad I did not have to drive far to work.  There was no way a groundhog could see his shadow around here!

Christine, I am sorry you are so pooped.  Please use the weekend to catch up on some energy.  It is so hard after you have been sick.  Overdoing it just makes you drag longer.

Crystal, you hit the nail on the head.  Cats are just like 2 year olds, into everything and give you plenty of laughs.  At my house that is times six.  So I do a lot of laughing.

Lisa, so glad you did not have to drive far in today's weather.  I hate those aching joints.  Hope they feel better soon.

Dawn, has David decided if he will have surgery.  If so, when?  Hang in there.

Good afternoon Chris and the rest of Illinois!

I am working as usual then a stop at Wally World before home.

After I see how I like the photographer and pics, I will let you know how it goes and hand over her information if warranted.  I'd hate to recommend someone I haven't yet met.

David will be having surgery but he has a few events to which t he already purchased tickets so he may wait until March 19 or so.  I am dreading the whole thing.  The wound is to be 3 inches long, 2 inches wide and as deep as the bone.  EEEEEWWWW!  It is to stay open with packing to allow it to heal from the inside out.  I am going to call my WLS surgeon as the UW web site says that he also does this type of surgery.  If he tells me the same thing, we will probably have it done in Monroe.

Amber has offered to help in any way she can and that makes me feel better.  If I can get someone to stay with him during the day once in a while for that first week it will make it easier on me......not having to be cooped up with him the whole time.

Not much else for me, just getting ready for the hotel weekend.

Everyone have a wonderful day and travel safely!

Tell someone that you love them!

Hope David gets through this upcoming surgery without too much pain and that you do not get too tired or stressed from taking care of him.

My dad had something similar on his leg that had to be packed.  I remember when I was a kid my mom had to change the dressings and he was wail in pain.  So I know the procedure and I don't envy you.  It was nice that your daughter is willing to help while you are at work.
