Friday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Yeah it's Friday!!!!  Wouldn't be nice to live in some weird universe where it can be the weekend all of the time!!! Ahhh!!!!

Today I have to go to Walmart,Meijer and the co-op for groceries and other assorted things.  Then home.  

I am upset.  I didn't mention it before but Amanda has to work Saturdays now.  So no more hanging out with my Amanda on saturdays.  The way it happened was really messed up.  This girl that is leaving in May has decided she wants to go part time (for no reason....she's just lazy).  Well she is the person that does the schedules.  She needed to re-do the schedules to cover the new gaps.  One of the new gaps left by her lazy butt...was Saturday.  So now Amanda has to work Saturdays and she gets Thursdays and Fridays off.  I work those days!!!  So basically...we have no days off together at all now!!!  I am so mad at this girl.  Amanda tried to get changed to no avail and chances of it changing after she leaves is a big NO!!!  I do have to mention that the girl that is leaving scheduled herself off on Saturdays!!!  I really want to yell and spit at that girl!!! 

Well I'm done venting now!!!!

So many of you guys work/worked for the state...Lisa, you  too...right?  Well, Nancy I'm glad it worked out for you.

We had a good experience with the financial meeting yesterday. Come to find out he is a past member of Willow, has clients that we know also and he is now going to a little church we are familiar with and also where our neighbors attend. Small world. He was really knowledgable, we liked him. We have a lot of homework to do.

We hope to get to church tonight for Good Friday services.

Sorry to say, but I work for non- profit, and not for the state. Our programs are under the state, but not state programs. We also get federal monies.

I am sorry that you will not get girl time with Amanda, but it can still change.

I have been cleaning and messing around this morning. We are going out to dinner tonight. Tomorrow I am attending a support group meeting at the Kane Center, since it is mandatory for a revision. Then off to buy some pots for my "new" garden area. I won't fill them until we get back from our cruise, but everything else will be done.

Sunday we are headin to Yorkville for Easter and Birthdays. 

Christine, I hope your visit with the financal guy worked out the way you wanted.

Nancy, I am hoping you enjoy your time off.

 Good Afternoon Everyone!

I am enjoying my day off.  Started out with sleeping in and playing with the cats.  Now I am finally digging into my taxes.  I have put them off as long as I can.  Sigh.  I also have to take Tigger to the vets.  He has started spraying and I want to make sure there is nothing medically going on.  Ugh!

Crystal, that stinks about Amanda's job.  I hope she can get that changed.  Maybe things will change when the new person comes on.  Schedules are not written in stone.  Think positive.  

Chris, I am glad you liked the accountant and received positive news.  That always helps greatly.  Especially with the state of our lovely state.  

Lisa, it sounds like you have a full weekend.  Enjoy it!  Dont over do it.  

Dawn, I hope you are ok and that the leg is hurting less.  Hopefully you are getting around better.

Have a HAPPY EASTER!!!

I know I sound like a big baby and I wouldn't complain....but Amanda will be leaving for the Peace Corp as soon as this September and I won't see her for two years!!!  So I feel like I have to soak up as much of her as possible.  I have this ticking clock and and time is running out.  Now this lady has taken away this day that was a joy to me....because it was just the two of us (not that I don't like her hubby... but it's just special when it's just us)  From what Amanda says the director is not going to change around the schedules again.  So now they are set...they don't like this kind of up-heaval.  What I don't get is why they let this gal make up the new schedules seeing that she is leaving...and giving herself all of the prime times and days off (not to mention she is part time).  I would think they would pass the scheduling off to a new person and give her the crap hours since she is part time...but that's just me.  At least that's what I would do if I was the director and if she didn't like it she can leave...without a good reference!!!  GRRRR!!!!   

OK...done venting AGAIN  I can't vent to Amanda because she just gets upset.  So it's you guys...hahahaha!!!!
