Good Morning,

A quick fly-by for me. I just got a call from my co=worker, she is dizzy and feels bad. Hmmm, this is a new one. So she is staying home. Usuallly it is a Monday that she is sick. But since she was on vacation last week and actually showed up on a MondAY, I should of expected this.

Wear your sunglasses today, its another great Illinois spring day.

Randy,  I don't envy you the move. I can't imagine what it would be like if after 35 years, we would try to condense and move.

Hugs,

LISA

Over the last 25 years we have gone from 3500 square feet down to 670.  I sat in that 3500 one night and was overcome with guilt.  We haf one room that was 700 and we used for parties, the cat and to get from the master suite to the kitchen.  My personal goal is to reduce my footprint to as close as I can to the space I take up when I lay down.

Good Morning Everyone!

Another Beautiful day here in Illini land.  I had to laugh at myself last night going home.  I was so hot at work and got in my car and was not cooling off.  I thought why is the ac not working?  At one point I put my hand over the vent and hot air was coming out?????  Then I remember that we had used my car Saturday night and it was cold coming home and had turned on the heat.,  I never turned it off!  So much for ac.

Randy, that is a lot of space to try to downsize from!  I keep thinking I need more space!  I seem to accumulate too much and dont want to let it go.

Lisa, I hope you are not the only one at work today.

Everyone have a great day and try to get outside to play!

Hello everyone

Well it does seem like it will be a great day.  We are in for some extra warm weather...at least down here.  Kind of uncomfortable since I'm not putting on the AC.

I have no idea what I'm doing with myself today.  I will be bored I'm sure.  I am filling my days with all of the following...internet surfing, TV watching, and reading.  I started reading the Harry Potter series...I'm liking it so far.

Randy-  I am so glad you got your new place.  I love those old vintage walk ups in Chicago.  Is Portage Park a nice neighborhood.  Because if I move to Chicago I was thinking about Rogers Park.  Packing and moving is so much work.  Ugh...I just hope I won't have to do it again so soon...

Time to go read, surf or watch TV....have a good day.   Bye.

Portage Park has an old time working class Chicago feel to it and a large Polish population.  It is just south of Jefferson Park if that gives you any more information.  I am one block from a place called Six Corners where ****ro, Milwaukee and Irving Park cross.

Randy, you should have taken the que from me when I was purging in the basement during the winter and started then yourself.

I have had a lot of windshield time today driving to/from IPD to Crystal Lake. Two times past Willow and I will be there again tomorrow night to service food in the Tunnel before service.

Randy, are you planning on giving up your vehicle? Which Willow will you go to then? You are just east of where my grand dad had a hardware store back before the Depression. He was on Irving Park Rd right across from Dunning. The buidling is no longer there and it is an apartment building. When he had the store back then he raised chickens out back - not no mo'. Dave was not too far from there when he came into Devry back in the mid '60's. Devry is now where the old Riverview was at.

Likely the Auditorium, the Mother Ship and maybe some Moody for a while and then settle into something.

Love Moody and the teaching of Irwin Lutzer. How many times will you have to change vehicles on public transport to get to the Auditorium? The campus pastor down there is Jon Klinepeter. He was Dave's small group leader when Dave was the service director for the second service on Saturday Nights. It was called "The Seven". That is when we had 2 services on Saturday nights.
