Monday Roll Call

Happy Memorial Monday! I have my java brewing  right now and a little later I will enjoy my bfast. Later on we will drive down to the parade route and watch the kick off to summer in our town. Our yearly parade is always fantastic and a lot of fun. We will meet up with some of my family and then shortly after the parade we will head over to their house for a BBQ.

Hello everyone

OMG...I completely forgot it was Memorial Day...I guess I am to focused on my move.  I was going to make some phone calls to cancel my services and other things today.  I wonder if they will be open...Hmmm.

Anyway I can't help but wish for all of this to be over with.  I will miss Amanda but this is all driving me crazy and I can't wait to get settled up north.  I actually can't wait to be in my own apartment again but that will be a month away.  All of this can be overwhelming but I am trying not to worry about getting it all done.

I see no one posted on Saturday. How did that happen????

We had a great weekend, shopping and visiting. Today, I do need to do some some picking up and putting away, and, getting a few grocerys.

I am planning on grilling out today. Not sure what yet. Also getting some Vit. D.

This is my last week to work for the year. Will stat again in Sept.

Good morning....HOT DAY! Stay cool chloe is here this weekend. We have been relaxing and she has been playing with a little neighbor girl. We eent swim suit shopping yesterday. Got good sales, so bought her two! Today we go out to the cemetery to put flowers out. The local Legion has a little service, too, so we will be there for that. Will figure something to cook on the grill later. Not much else going on.

Chris enjoy your cookout and vaca. Crystal, sounds like you are all under control. Don't stress. You are in good shape. Enjoy your last days before your job starts. Lisa, i wish I had the summer off...but need the money! How is Annette and fam doing?

Georgie, Thank you for you continued concern. Annette and Rick, along with thier furbabies, are now in a condo, They are meeting with contractors, and getting settled. Almost a=everything that can be saved is in the hands of the restorers. Now is a waiting game.

Today, they are just going to relax and do as little as possible. We invited them down for dinner, but they said they weren't going to leave the house today, just chill.

A special THANK YOU to all Veterans on this special day!  I thank them for their sacrifice and defending our freedom!

Today is another laid back day for me.  I just got back from grocery shopping.  Rick is taking Gage back home.  Gizmo is exploring his new home.  He is adapting nicely.  He seems to get along with everyone else.  Some of them are not so sure of a new addition but will adapt soon.  He was so excited to come home with me yesterday!

It is another warm one out there!

Crystal, it sounds like you have everything done.  Enjoy some more time with Amanda.  I know you have enjoyed the last year with her.
