Wednesday Roll Call
Happy Hump Day Everyone!
It is supposed to be cooler today -- yeah! I cant believe how hot it has been and so early in the summer. I hope we are not in for a brutally hot summer. I do hate the heat, but not as much as snow.
Yesterday was a slow day at work. A little nerve wracking all the same. Somewhat grouchy people. It runs in spells. Today, we will see. I was glad to go home yesterday. Gizmo is so cute. He is supposed to be 4 years old but acts like a kitten -- into everything. The other cats are starting to settle down with him. Tigger has been funny. He thinks he has been displaced as #1 cat and pouts. It is cute.
Crystal, you are the most organized person I know. If I ever want something organized I am going to call you. I cant believe how much you have gotten done in such a short period of time. Dont stress about leaving your apartment clean. I have a feeling you could eat off your kitchen floor right now. A good sweeping and moping should be all that is needed.
Chris, I hope you are having fun in Galena. That is a beautiful area. I need to go back there.
Lisa, two days left. Nice to see an end to the work year! I know you must be excited! My thoughts are still with Annette and family. How long does it take to get their things cleaned?

Nancy, thanks for the comment on the pic. I did, actually print it in a 4 X 6 and put it in a frame I have here at work. It was just a perfect picture of the two of them. Roxie sits AS CLOSE as she can to Chloe.

Good afternoon all,
Today I have not been very active. I need to NOT be so lazy and get some crafts and organizing done. I think I am just enjoying the destressing from work.
Tonight my family and I are going to see Dark Shadows. Marcus Theater has spotlight movie coupons for Wednesday and Thursday that lets me see select movies for 5$. I much prefer 5$ for a movie vs 9$.
I am also being even more cheap as I am packing our snacks and drinks. I have a bag of fresh veggies for me!
Prior to the movies, my son and I are picking up a 180 gallon tank for his Chinese Water Dragon. My son is now planning on getting a turtle. I keep reminding him that this time next year he leaves for college and I am not a fan of reptiles!
Time will tell.

Dark Shadows was as I expected - melodramic, camppy, and silly! I am glad I had 5$ tickets though! Tim Burton did a good job at making fun of the 70's. Great soundtrack! The best part was the fact that the original Barnabas Collins made a cameo.
The movie made my family and I chuckle. My 17yr old son was a bit confused, but oh well.
