Monday Roll Call
Good Morning,
We had a dry Sunday, except for a shower in Bloomington in the morning, and a sprinkle after 5, here inStreator. If no rain comes today, we will be watering our lawn and garden this evening.
Steven, have fun visiting your family in a few weeks. We leave on the 14th for a week in Michigan.
Not alot happenig today. I want to wash the kitchen floor, I have a small pile to either find a home for or throw out. I am sure I will find other things to do also.
Dave and Christine, have a safe trip home.
Dawn, don't we all give our work numbers for doctors, ect to call?
Nancy, I am glad you had a quiet weekend.

Good Morning Everyone!
What a beautiful morning! It is only supposed to be in the 70's the next two days here. Then I am going into hibernation as it is in the high 90's the rest of the week. It is even predicted to be in the 100's one day.
Today is work and then I am going to try to get Gizmo into the vet. He has a stuffed up nose and diarrhea. Poor kitty. He is sleeping a lot but still eating like a horse.
My car is supposed to go in today to get the remote start put in if the part has arrived. Also need to get a front license plate bracket so I can hang my plate and make myself legal.
Stephen, I am sure you are counting the days to see your family. I just rearranged vacation days to go see my great niece and nephews over the weekend after the 4th.
Lisa, I have a steam mop that I LOVE> I bought it at Big Lots. Have you tried one? I am amazed at how well it works. I also have the hand one and use it for cleaning the stove, bathroom and other surfaces.
Dawn, good luck as David moves back home. Sending you positive vibes today.

Good morning Steven and the rest of Illinois!
The short ribs were very good but a little more work than I had anticipated. Well worth it though. I made enough for leftovers. I also used the same marinating technique with the Sazon and Adobo on a pork sirloin roast for the grill on Saturday. VERY TASTY!!!!! Todd raved and raved.
I got a surprise last night as I was winding down for bed. About 8:45, David texted to say his plans had changed and he would be "moving everything but my matress and drums tonight......should be there by 11". I texted him back and told him we would be having a discussion about respect tonight. I went to bed anyway and when I woke up this morning, he was in his room and his car is in my driveway stuffed with all his "stuff". Let the fun begin!!!!!
We are now on the count-down for Liv's camp. She leaves 2 weeks from yesterday. OH MY!!!!! I wonder if I will miss her more than last year. I REALLY missed her last year and this year she will be gone an extra week. BUT, since I know what to expect.......we will see.
Nancy----I may have to check out Big Lots as I could use a steam mop. I WISH I could aford a Dyson. Todd about had a heart attack when the last vacuum cost close to $200.00.
NOt too much else going on at the moment.
