Wednesday Roll Call
Sharon- coming from someone that has a daughter that is 1/2 Puerto Rican. No offense taken. My daughter always says people are way too sensitive and quick to take offense. That people need to just relax and laugh at themselves. And I agree!!!! I wonder where she gets that wonderful attitude from...hmmm???
Good Evening Everyone!
Happy Hump Day!
Can we all say "I survived Hump day today" For me it was a very busy day with a few testy customers but on a whole just busy. Still no news. I dont know if no news is good news or bad. Sigh. I do figure that each day I work is one more day of being paid but I want to know. I am tired of waiting.
Sharon, I love your post today! It sounds that things are working out. It is great that your are excited about your new job. That is what is should be!
Lisa, I love those teen years. It is fun to watch them go through the different stages. I am sure you get a big kick out of Morgan and it is so great to see her so happy.
Jason, I am glad you are done with doctor appointments for awhile. I love Bigos. I had the best dish of it in a small Polish village when I spent a month there for work.
Crystal, I am glad your sinuses are clearing up. That is a HUGE relief. I am so sorry that Chris has such a crazy mixed up schedule. That makes it hard to get together but I am sure you two will get it figured out one way or the other.
Ellen, welcome! It is great to "meet" you! How many kids do you have and what are their ages? You said you work from home, what type of work do you do? I look forward to getting to know you better! Welcome!
Connie, I am so sorry that the Bookworm is closing. I know how much you liked going there and I am sure you will miss the place. That is hard to see a familiar place close. That is too bad. I hope you get to the bottom of your allergies. Good luck. Finding out what you are allergic to is the beginning part of the challenge. The BIG challenge is avoiding the culprits. I am allergic to wool and I had gotten a new jacket and was wearing it and was itching a lot the first time I wore it. I looked at the label and it had 10% wool in it. I had not seen that. Now that means I cannot wear it without a turtle neck underneath it.
Christine Hello stranger! I have been wondering where you disappeared to. Now I know, Busy, busy, busy = Chris. My what a whirlwind of a year. I am happy that you got rid of your former co worker. I remember what a pain in the rear that she was. Hopefully her replacement will be a BIG improvement. Come again soon!
Everyone have a great Thursday!
I am happy that you got rid of your former co worker. I remember what a pain in the rear that she was.
She left because the job had TOO much stress. Yes, she was stressed because I had not talked to her for over a year and plain ignored her unless it was for business. If there is a lot of stress in that room then why is my BP 115/70 without meds? She is mean, vindictive, sarcastic, always had to be right even when she was wrong and would go to great lengths to "prove" it, make fun of you to your face and then laugh like it was a joke, get her nose into issues that were already settled - switch it all around and then go to great lengths to say it was done wrong to begin with and then gloat about it . . . Sorry to see her go? NO myself and the other PTimer are so happy with her gone. The one that left insisted (remember - she is always right) that the village would not replace her because there wasn't enough work - SURPRISE there was an ad on the website advertising the job 1 week + before she left!
The other girl and I are on cloud nine getting things organized, tossing around new ideas for the room and getting the work done without the tension from the other one.
I will get off my soap box

Good morning Nancy,
Happy day after Hump Day.
I know I did survived Hump day. Part of the day was busy for me yesterday, but today will by part busy today which one thing I'll be doing today is that I'll be cashing in my rain check with my aunt for the Willis Tower which it was a bust the day before my birthday, I hope it goes good for today. Same here about if no news is good news or bad news. I wish you the very best for each day for you and your job. No one like the waiting game of anything.
Me too about no doctor visit for awhile. I love Bigos, I can make a meal out of it at any time during the day. Cool. Each culture has it's owen great food to eat.
:-) ...have a great Thursday.
