I'm home!

First of all I have to thank my Angel Cindy and my angel side-kick Melissa for really staying on top of things.. they were both so "right there" with me. Second of all, I want to say thank you to everyone on this board.. you have all been so generously supportive to me. It's so touching to come back from these few days in the hospital to see people asking for updates and updates up on the board.. you guys are all wonderful. I'm doing fine. At home (finally!) and getting rested. In the hospital, the food options once I was off my christmas tree lights hookup were pretty limited and clearly didn't have much protein in them.. I was having NO trouble getting 4oz in.. but now I'm sitting here looking at 2 oz of Boost I just can't get down.. believe it.. you can't imagine til you're on this side how true it is.. TRAIN YOURSELF TO EAT SLOWLY.. the pain comes and goes.. I discovered that my ticklishness has caused me some problems with muscle spasms by my drain site.. I do feel great though.. and I have ankles again!! WAHOO!! I'm going to go lay down for a while but I wanted you all to know how grateful I am for your love and support.. and I'll probably talk to you all tomorrow.. DON'T FORGET TOMORROW IS JEN'S HUSBAND'S NEW BIRTHDAY!! stef

Hey Girl! Glad to see your doing well and things went as expected. Ankles... what are those exactly???lol I cannot wait to have my surgery. Everytime one of you girls or guys have it done, makes me one day closer to having it. Just not sure when that will be yet.. lmao Take it easy and enjoy your new life!!! {{{{{ hugs }}}}}

Welcome to the other side my friend! I am so glad you are up and going. You know I'm here if you need me. And DAMN you really ARE CLOSE!!! If I wasn't so lazy I could even WALK to your place. LOL Anyway, you have the most GORGEOUS cats!!! I LOVE THEM! OH...as I was saying... You can ALREADY tell that you've lost. It's quite amazing to look at someone and see it so quickly. Welcome home Stef. I am glad to here that you are doing well. Make sure you are getting enough rest and walking. Don't forget to exersize those vocal cords. LOL What are ankles? I don't see mine very often. Anyway, congratulations!!!!!

Stef, I'm soooooo happy for you! Congratulations, and welcome back. I'm starting to lose my recently acquired diva-ness (is that even a word???) and I look forward to seeing your daily doses! Thanks for remembering my hubby. My best friend will be in surgery, but my second best friend will be sitting with me. I hope to be able to see his ankles, too!!!!
