Last pre-op visit..

I saw my dr. today and the long and short of it is some of my tests were abnormal, such as my ekg, and a diabites test, but he feels the surgery will resolve the issues, but it was still enough to make me realize how lucky i am to be having this surgery. I already lost 4lbs, not sure how since ive been pigging out lol We also set goal, he siad to loose 93lbs, i siad 100, so goal is 146, however he sias with exercise he believes i can hit my ideal of 120lbs!!! Thats when i lost it and started crying. I dont think ive ever been 120lbs. So thats it, im ready to go...and the icing on the cake is that my new profile is done!!! Check it out, its sooooo pretty i couldnt have asked for prettier!! Giovanna gonna be a looser

Well i want to tell you that you go girl your almost there!!!Do you have diabetes?I do and it sucks..I have diabetes,pcos,throide diease,and gods knows what else...

Chandra, I got lucky so far, no diabetes, but give it anthor year and I would have probably. I have something wrong with my heart, but he sias it will be oaky, and the edema, and lord knows what else. This was just a good reminder of why im doing this now, not later. I cant believe im almost there, you will be soon too!

Good luck and our prayers will be with you. I have not taken anything for my diabetes since surgery, it is all controlled by diet.

Giovanna, I'm so happy for you! I can totally relate to the excitement you're feeling right now and I know in a few days you will be opening your eyes into your new life!
