PLEASE HELP ME PASS THE TIME AWAY TILL SURGERY!!

I will be having surgery on 12/6 and I find myself scared silly, excited, starting a million project but finishing none. My intellectual side has everything under control, but the other side can't wait for the first two-three weeks of post op to be over. That means that all of the pain, what to do, and what is tolerable for me to eat, most of my questions as to what to expect etc will be over. If you have time to email me please do so. Lynettee, Im having surgery that same day in IL. i have too much to do lol. shouldnt even be online but chatting with an old friend. I feel the same way, but ironcally today feel sort of calm about it all. Hang there, your almost there Giovanna ps are you in illinos or wisconsn

Hi Lynettee Just try to take a few deep breaths in first! It's very normal to feel all of those conflicting feelings with just a few days to go! Those first few weeks, heck, months, will fly by and you'll be an 'ol pro before you know it Best wishes to you!!! Hugz, Cathy

I will be having surgery on Monday also. I am actually strangely at peace. I think it has a lot to do with my faith. And knowing it is in God's Will. I have plans all made and am working on packing up my kids' clothes for their care. I have 4 children. The oldest will be only two houses away from home so she can take care of our pets and pop in and out of home as she likes. Also, she is kinda my main support person along with my friend she will be staying with. My next Child will be with a cousin, and the other two with my step-father. Hi, Lynette I totally understand my surgery is 8 days away and I am full of nervous energy just relax take a good nap do you sleep on your stomach if so dive into bed on your stomach one last good time it'll be a while before you can again.........lol.....congrats and happy rebirthday. ashley
