2 week post-op!!

Hi everyone!! I just got back from my 2 week post-op appointment!! All is well and I'm down 15lbs!!!! wwoooohoooooooo! Pureed foods here I come!!! lol Thank you to everyone for all their support!! Good luck to all that had or are having surgery this week! ~hugs~ Konni

Oh girl it gets sooooo much better!! I'm not saying that you won't have your moments - I think we all have! But the good totally outweighs the bad IMHO! Have fun with the purees!

Hey, Konni, that's great, good for you! Isn't it great to hear the doctor tell you that you can start pureed? I must have eaten a ton of creamed soup. Terry

oh I meant to ask you...did they tell you to take calcium suppliments? I noticed you said something about taking rolaids?

Konni, I've been taking calcium for a couple of years, since I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. But as far as I know, it's not mandatory for everyone, so don't worry about it unless they think you should take it. Terry
