New Support Group In Rockford!

Hi AMOS IL friends I get this flyer from OSF(don't know why..lol I never went there) but I'm glad I actually looked at it this time. I found this link but it says Fall 2004..... I just got the Spring 2005 in the mail. http://www.osfhealth.com/regarding/title.htm The link was kinda hard to find..... just go to www.osfhealth.com and click on the news and events tab. From there... look to the left and hit the Regarding Women tab...... maybe they will update it soon... check it out if ya wanna Anyways... Gastric Bypass Support Group meetings are generally held @ 6:30p.m. on the last Monday of the month at the OSF Center for Health- 5510 East State St.... I called for info and was told it is right next to Tumbleweeds on State St. I called 815-395-5342 and got marketing... she was helpful The founder's name is Jill Landgraf and she is a post op...6mos+? I'll be there with bells on Monday nite Anyone else??? Email me and we can hook up there It would be cool to hook up with other post ops.....I have never been to a support group as my surgeon is in Chicago. Tracy

Tracy, I've been going to that group since October, in fact, I knew about them before I knew about the Barix group. Jill had her surgery in July of 2004, and almost everyone in the group works at OSF. They are really nice and it's a very informal group. Last time there were about 15 of us there. I go to that one on the last Monday and then Barix on the second Monday, so I have all my bases covered. See you there. Terry
