The APPROVAL WAITING GAME

Hello all; I have completed all my pre-op requirments and now i'm waiting for approval from IDPA. I hope it goes quickly because I'm ready to get this over with. Everyone pray for me. KIM

Im in the waiting game to hang in there Kim.I just got done with everything too,and called my doc yesterday to find out if they have sent anything out to the IDPA department yet they said they will get to it( lol )YEA right...Hope my hair isnt to gray before they get to me...Congrates so far,and good luck.

Hang in there Kim, it will happen. I was waiting forever too and finally have my surgery date for May 31. Sue McD

Kim, Just hangin there, i have just gotten approved on May 3rd and have my appointment with my surgeon on June 13 so it was hurry up 6 month dr diet to wait t ogo to the surgeon. I am not a very patient person so i know exactly what you are talking about. What made the time by quicker was to think to myself that everything happens for a reason. It worked most of then time. Oh yea, i just get my appointment w/surgeon and what do i get in the mail? A letter saying i have been chosen for jury duty, my work is writing a letter because i really cannot be gone right now but when it rains it pours. GOOD LUCK on your approval and remeber GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO THOSE WHO WAIT!!! Nanette

Ihave just had my psych exam sent to Barix, they already have my family physician, and exercise/nutrition charts. Wonder howlong from this point it will take? I get scared thinking that I may be taking too much of a risk but would love to be able to again and walk!
