Angel swooping in! Alan M

Alan M has graciously allowed me to be his angel for this next step in his journey. If you dont' know Alan let me tell you a bit about him. Alan started this journey a while back. Suffered an injury in the winter that caused him to take quite a bit of time off of work. He wasn't sure then that he was going to be able to take time off again for this surgery. His job supported him 100 percent and he continued his plans. He has been excercising and eating better and has continuely lost weight as he has prepared for this surgery this directly resulted in some improvement with his sleep apnea. He then found out that as of June his company will no longer be covering this surgery. He is scheduled for 5/31. He spoke with them to find out what would happen if for some reason the 5/31 date would not fly. Again, his work supported him and said they would cover him, even if after they quit covering the surgery. The support of his employers, to me, says a lot about Alan as a person. I have found Alan to be kind and supportive in our community. When there is something he has experience on and can answer Alan is there for us. And he has been know just to pop in and say hi and that he is thinking of us. I think it's time we give back to Alan don't you? In 2 short days Alan will join us on the loser's bench.
