Update on me...
Hey guys! I know I've been pretty scarce on here lately, but with summer here and the kids home, I dont have alot of time to get on here. I do lurk, just dont post much.
Anyhow, I'm doing great! I feel sooooo good, I cant believe it. I walk everyday, and 3 months ago, that was a chore in itself. I would get soooooooo hot just walking through the store to do my grocery shopping. Now, I can make 3+ trips throughout the whole store and not break a sweat. I love it.
My blood sugar level has went wayyyy down. Before surgery I was anywhere in the range from 150-400. Most of the time being in the 250-300 range. It now averages anywhere from 95-117. Mostly 107-110 though.
Sooo, I went to my pcp today for my B-12 injection and they checked my b/p(130/78),pulse,resp. Everything was normal. Shelly the nurse wasnt going to weigh me, so I asked her if we could "just in case" I was able to weigh on their scale.(On June 2nd, when I went in for my depo, I still couldnt)
So, I got on the scale, dreading it the whole walk to it and while I was on it because I always feel soooo bloated. Anyhow, I got on it, and she slid the scale thingy over and low and behold it said I was down to 344!!!
She & I both let out a whoohoo. Im not sure who was more excited, she or I. So that means since April 5th, I am down 56 lbs.
So to celebrate, I went to wal-mart and bought me an outfit, shoes, some new nose rings.
I'm hoping to be down 100 lbs by the time my brother gets married in Sept. It'll make buying a dress sooo much easier.
Anyhow, thats the update on me!
Hope everyone is doing well!
Take Care-

Hey girlie! How are you? Thanks for all the encouraging words.
Yeah, I got a shot of the logonox(sp) before surgery, but no, it didnt hurt at all. It was just like a regular shot.
Girllll, you dont have much longer to go. How are your hands feelin? My mom had that surgery done about 5 yrs ago and she said that was one of the best well spent hospital bills she's had since she's had us kids..lol
Anyhow, give me a holler if you need anything. Talk to ya soon!!
