no surgery!

First I would like to thank all the people who have been supporting me, now I must complain ALOT! Today Jul;y 11th is my surgery date 10:ooam so over the weekend I fsted for 2 days, no coffee nothing but clear liquids I had my 4 showers with the anti bacterial soap people were missing work to take care of my youngest son, I took my liquid laxative Yuck! and had a small breakdown wondering if I was doing the right thing i was just ready. Then at 8:00 p.m the night before surgery I get a call from a nurse saying the Dr. is sorry but he had a emergency and we have to cancell your surgery yup the worst news I felt my body just go numb with disapointment, I couldnt even be mad at the Dr because he is human and has emergencys but why wasnt there a back up surgeon? I asked and they said they were trying to locate one and that they would be getting a hold of me withing an hour....3 hours later I call and they say that they thought someone had called me and that my surgery was called off and I would know more today, so I am still waiting I have called 3 times and no one knows what is going on...Im so sad! Im so sorry that really sucks!but the good news is your still closer to your date then most,and im sure it will be anytime just hang in there.There is a reason for everything,and i wish u all the luck in the world!! (hugs)
