Hi! Nancy and thanx for the input....Can you tell me what I should expect after seeing him and doing the necessary tests ,would it be til surgery time...
He hasnt wrote me back yet, I would assume he is getting me approved through the medicaid insurance ....? not sure...I'm up to date on this procedure but not what the time frame is...Just curious so I can make certain of my transportation......ty
or email me at [email protected]

If I recall, his nurse handled everything as far as insurance and approvals were concerned. I take it that you don't have an appointment yet to see him. If you haven't heard back from him by next week, I would give him a call, just to see where everything stands or what your next move should be. I think he told me, at the time, that the time frame was like 3 months from first visit til surgery. I think mine was 6 months because of some problem with insurance approval. It may seem like a long time, but use the time to prepare yourself and it is well worth the wait. I know it seems like forever, just stick to it.
Best of luck,
Nancy
Nancy , can the test that needs to be done b4 surgery be done here where I live by my PCP and fax to Dr Vitello? I just wondered if maybe if the test where done it would make things run smoother and faster?..........If not I can go to him but rather have it done here and sent to him....I live like 4 hours from his office but willing to travel there with no problem...Just a thought if this can be done or not?
