hiya everybody...new to this so bear with me...

just thought that I would drop in here and introduce myself...anyway...I'm Crystal..I go mostly by CK though, seems to be wayyyyyyyyy too many Crystal's going around these days...lol I'm trying to locate a surgeon for one that is HIGHLY experienced and trustworthy with my health and for two that takes IDPA medicaid. If anyone can be of any assistance it would be appreciated.

Welcome C.K. I have went to Dr.Vitello in Chicago...I know many dont want to travel this far....But, I have now learn that this can be dealt with Helping Hands...if your PCP gives them a referral....they will drive you there and come get you with no cost to you....This is what I will be doing for the surgery itself.....I' had my family take me to the first consultation but, here on out .....I will be going through Helping Hands....

Vitello M.D. Phone: (312) 996-2037 I wrote him and then waited for reply and then maybe week out I called him.... his number is directly to him...I went to see him on the 17th ,Nov... I set up a psyh eval at my home town...on the 7th Dec. actually he will let you do all the test necessary and then fax them to him.....he is a sweet physician and so understandable.... G'Luck CK~

Oh! after my twin sister gets here ,...she has the toll free number for Helping Hands....I should have it on hand...but she is my secretary...sort of speak hehe....I lose everythingggggggggggg!... always, Cams

lol ....well she finally got here and the number is... 239-9900 (HelpingHands)... they will give ya a 800 number and tell them that you want to go through HelpingHands....for transportation to so - so and so forth.... then they will ask which doctor you are going to see....location...and number...they will give ya a trip number.... then call back Helping Hands and give them the trip number...they will set up a time to pick you up...for i'e : if your appt is like hour away ...and its a 2:00 appt...they will prolly give you the time to be ready at 12:45...to be certain to get there on time....(also if Chicago for instance then they expect a referral from your PCP)...but for locals no need.... and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours too, CK....((hugs)) always, Cams
