are they any sup. groups in southern illinois?

I live in southern Illinois in a little town by Benton,IL and I am looking for a support close to home. I plan to have surgery in Paducah,KY at Lourdes by Dr. Argotte. If anyone can pass info along to me it would be great. thanks

There are support group meetings in Murphysboro at the hospital there and also there are meetings in Paducah at Lourdes. I'm not sure of all the dates and times, but call the hospitals and ask or maybe someone with more information than I can help. Take care, Anita

HI JAWN!! THERE IS A SUPPORT GROUP MEETING TONIGHT AT ST JOE'S HOSPITAL IN MURPHYSBORO. I AM NOT SURE HOW MUCH LONGER WE WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE THAT GROUP AS THE LEADER IS UNABLE TO CONTINUE I JUST CALLED ST JOES HOSPITAL AND THEY ARE GOING TO CALL ME AND LET ME KNOW DIFFINETLY WHETHER THE MEETING IS CANCELLED. DR ARGOTTE IS MY DR ALSO AND HE IS WONDERFUL AND SO IS HIS STAFF, I AM 5 MONTHS POST OP AND HAVE LOST 82 POUNDS AND I WANT TO LOSE ABOUT ANOTHER 100 SO I HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO, IF YOU WANT TO EMAIL ME PLEASE DO.
