a question about self pay...

Hi all ,I have been away along time. I have a question about self paying-if I were to self pay for wls would my insur.pay anything at all(like hospital stay etc...)I have medicaid IL and Blue cross ppo. Any help with this would be great. (I know medicaid will pay but I have to wait until Jan 2007 and would like to get this done before then) Thanks, Tonia

I had to self-pay for my surgery because my insurance wouldnt cover anything that had to do with obesity. So to answer your question they didnt cover a darn thing. Not hospital, not labs..nothing. If god for bid you had complications health insurance wouldnt cover that either.
