I just wanted to introduce myself.. I am Melissa, SAHM of 4 in Southern WI. I am a diabetic and have been since the age of 8 (23 years alomst). I am approx 150 pounds over weight and near a BMI of 50. I am beginning research to have WLS done, but not sure what to research, where to look, or what to do from here.

Welcome! There are tons of resources on this website to help you with your decision. You need to research the gastric bypass and the lap-band. You need to figure out which one is best fitted for you. If you have any questions the boards are here to help you so dont be afraid to ask. Good luck!
