Hi Laura, I've been checking your progress from time to time and so glad to hear that things are heading your way. Keep up the great work. We are getting a pretty good turnout at the support group for Tallgrass on the second Saturday of the month. Please drop by and join us if you get a chance. Christine and I will not be at the July meeting, but will plan to be at the August date. Christine is almost 3 weeks out and I'm over a year out already. The losses have slowed for me, but I'm happy to be in the normal weight range. Again, congrats to you. John

I've been trying to find local support also.  I couldn't even get Solutions for Life to call me back.  My friend had surgery there and she said she would take me with her but I want to go somewhere where they want me there.  We may just have to start our own.  I have surgery on July 17th and am very excited about it.  I went to the OK support group Thursday (it was required) and I absolutely loved it.  The class was full to the brim and they were the nicest people.  I even joined their OK group because there are just not very many people on the KS forum.  Keep in touch and maybe we'll just start our own group. Today is the first day of my adult life that I am in the normal weight range.  My BMI is 24.1.  I have had a hard time with my surgery history (read my profile for details) but it has been so worth it.  When I realized this I actually cried.  Laura
