I am now at 152 pounds. My original goal was 130 but, in november, my doctor recommended that I amend that goal to 110, based upon my height.
Last week, someone posted about a website, Weightview, that would take a photo and project a designated weight loss on it. During the weekend, I sent away for weight loss of 30, 40, and 50 pounds, with an ending weight of 122, 112, and 102 pounds respectively.
I am now at the point I need to determine what my adjusted goal really should be.
I seem to have problems pasting pictures into posts so these photos are located in an album called Weightview in my profile.
If you could please take a few moments to look at them and give me some feedback concerning where I look most weight appropriate, I would be grateful.
At 132 pounds, my BMI would be 24.9, which is the top of the normal range.
122 pounds = 23.0 BMI
112 pounds = 21.2 BMI
102 pound = 19.3 BMI
Thank you for your feedback.

I agree, wherever you feel most comfortable is best. If you reach 130 and feel like you love the way you look, then there you go.
IMO the one at 120 looks best. But it's ultimaltely you that matters most!

You're not buying a car - your precise goal weight really isn't that precise. Its where you feel best. If you get to 122 and aren't comfortable go to 112 - if that feels a like a bit much go to 118 or 102 or 127 - where you are most comfortable, healthy and happy is where your goal is. Good luck and congratulations, you've done awesome.
PS - I coulnd't reall tell much of a difference between those photos, sorry.

I think you looked best at 122 but this isn't about me. Best of luck on your decision Lisa.

In my personal expericene...I have run the gamut of weights between 284 and 210. I havent been under 200 since 6th grade (I was 5'9 in 6th grade!). I know anywhere under 240 I start feeling more comfortable with myself. My personal goal is 190 since I have not been there as an adult and work my way from there even though that is still classified as on the border of overweight/obese.
Good luck to you what ever you decide to aim for...

I think they all look very "healthy" and "normal" and you look great at that projection. I work with two people who are '5"0 and '4"11. When we started our weight loss program, one was 115 and one was about 112. Having Always been thin either by nature or by fight, they wanted to get back around 100 lbs.
So, my point being, I think 102 might be a little hard to maintain. I would aim for 112-132, somewhere in there you should find that you are happy and able to maintain and still eat enough not to feel like you are starving your body of necessary nutrients. Just remember - maintenance is supposed to require diligence but not uncessarily hard work!
