time for serious question
Hi Cheryl,
Corinne called to tell me the team had approved me and my info would be submitted to insurance. I called the insurance company to find out if my surgery had been submitted. When they said it hadn't I called the office and then followed up with insurance again the next day and it had been submitted. This was a Wed. On Friday Crystal called me to schedule surgery!! She actually wanted to schedule it for the following week but because of work I asked for 2 weeks. I can't believe it's been almost a year!!!
My suggestion...but the insurance company to find out if your stuff has been submitted. If it hasn't call the office. Ya know the "squeaky wheel" thing really works.

Crystal called me Tuesday to tell me she had submitted all my stuff to Anthem, and siad she would call when she heard...in the meantime I shoudl just continue on as if I am all approved. So I waited all day yesterdan and today, she said it was about a 48 hour turn around, and now, of course I am a bit anxious. About what I don't know should leave that for when I actually have something to be anxious about, right?
It was magic when she realized who she had become...

Finally it moved!
Crystal called me to let me know they faxed all the info over. I called the insurance company to make sure they had it..which they did. btw...I called the insurance company everyday just to see where they were in the process. I want to think they approved me so quickly because I was being a pain...but I'll never know! I'm just grateful they made a decision quickly! 
Crystal called me again to set up the date once she got the approval from the insurance company!! It's a great bunch of phone calls to get!! Good luck!! Keep us posted!!!!!!!!!

crystal called me to say it was submitted. i called the insurance co. to make sure they got it. then i started calling the insurance co. daily after a week. crystal called me with approval and later that day the insurance co. called to say i'd been approved. i was approved on a monday and had surgery the following monday.
