antiquing

Good morning all,  I was wondering if any of you would know as to when all the Antique stores on Rt. 1 and along the coast are due to open. My sister and I are planning on a  day out antiquing, love to fine old unique things to decorate my house and gardens.  I hate haveing her take a day off if the stores are not open.  Another sign spring is here, we are meeting on Sat. at Longfellows greenhouse they are having a clinic on making a flower basket.  something fun to do and keep my mind off from the broth and jello. hehe... honks to all of you and enjoy the SUn   yaaahooo!!!!

Good idea to keep busy Saturday (you'll be a different kinda busy on Sunday!) I have no idea when all those shops open, but enjoy!  Sounds like you'll be having a fun day!  Ruth

I know alot of stores in Bar Harbor open this month.......not sure about on route one

i always thought Memorial weekend was the official opening of Route 1 shopping but I might be way out of date, afterall, I have seen people wear white shoes BEFORE Memorial Day!!!The horror! Call the Chamber of Commerce for the towns you are thinking about, they would know....
