Good Morning

Hi everyone, On my way back to work this morning and wanted to say good morning to everyone. I will be on at work but wanted to give you a quick update: My goal of keeping my opinions to myself??/CHECK, I did it, my daughter and I had the best visit we ever have, I cautiously asked if she WANT? my advice or opinion everytime, and if she did I gave it, if she just wanted me to listen-that's what I did.  What a powerful question...What do you want my role to be??A listener?? or do you want my advice... Now, girls, you know I TEACH that question to clients...just have a hard time not thinking with my own kids that I know a little bit more than they do LOL  but wow did it work even for me... My grandson is the absolute cutest little perfect guy in the world, we had such a good time and I think he loves his Mimi.  Picture this, our last full day together, DDgt and I had mani-s and pedi-s and were were talking and holding hands in the pedi chair...oopps gonna cry...so anyway Goals can be met!!! Plus I lost 3 more lbs while I was there. Down to 2004 weight... I was so happy to see my grandgirls, took them with my dgt-in-law to the campground and spend Sat night all togehter. Precious, priceless times.  THIS is the why of my surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you all!

way to go Kate, I know how hard that is.  my two kids, grown (wellll, they think they are) and don't need me anymore, (so they think) but weather its financial or the way they dress, or whatever, it is so hard not to say anything. now I know why my mom was the way she was, i'm the same damn thing. grrrrrr  have a good week back at work, and savor all those wonderful memories, cause there are many more to come, cause mimi will be around to make them.  Love ya, Kate......Cheryl

Oh Kate!  I am so happy for you!  Time with grandkids is sooo precious!  They grow up sooo fast!  My DH has 2 grandkids (so they are step-grandkids for me!) and we've only see the older one once!  They live in Arizona!  It's really tough knowing that they don't really know who we are!  So glad you spent such quality time with ALL your kids!  AND.....3 more pounds!!! How cool is that?  You are doing awesome!  Thanks for sharing!!!!!! Ruth
